Job Title: HR Assistant Location: Ambattur Estate &ndash; Chennai Department: Human Resources Reports To: Senior HR Employment Type: Full-timeJob SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to manage key HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, employee onboarding, and maintaining employee records. The ideal candidate will support the HR department in ensuring smooth operations and a positive employee experience.Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment &amp; Sourcing<ul><li>Source and attract candidates through various channels (e.g., job portals, social media, referrals).</li><li>Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers.</li><li>Assist in drafting job descriptions and posting job advertisements.</li><li>Maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.</li></ul>2. Onboarding<ul><li>Organize and conduct employee onboarding and orientation programs.</li><li>Ensure completion of all joining formalities and documentation.</li></ul>3. Payroll<ul><li>Gather and validate employee attendance and leave data.</li><li>Coordinate with the finance/payroll team for monthly payroll processing.</li><li>Address employee queries related to salary, taxes, and deductions.</li></ul>4. Employee Records Management<ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems and files.</li><li>Ensure confidentiality and compliance with labor laws.</li><li>Track employee leaves, benefits, and performance records.</li></ul>5.
