Senior Software Engineer

 We are looking for a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to join our engineering team. In this role, you will own and evolve our cloud infrastructure, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our platform. You will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to drive a culture of automation and continuous improvement.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 CI/CD &amp; Automation:
 
 &bull; Design, build, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI,GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
 
 &bull; Automate build, test, deployment, and release workflows to reduce manual effort and time-to-market.
 
 &bull; Implement GitOps practices and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Pulumi.
 
 
 Kubernetes &amp; Container Orchestration:
 
 &bull; Manage, monitor, and scale Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, or AKS) in production environments.
 
 &bull; Define and maintain Helm charts, manifests, and deployment strategies including canary and blue-green releases.
 
 &bull; Troubleshoot cluster and application-level issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
 
 
 Cloud Infrastructure:
 
 &bull; Architect and maintain infrastructure across one or more major cloud providers: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
 
 &bull; Optimize cloud resource utilization, cost efficiency, and security posture.
 
 &bull; Implement networking configurations, VPCs, load balancers, DNS, and CDN setups.
 
 &bull; Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus &mdash; familiarity with managed services such as EKS, GKE, AKS, RDS, Cloud Storage, and IAM is highly valued.
 
 
 Monitoring, Reliability &amp; Security:
 
 &bull; Set up and maintain observability stacks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK.
 
 &bull; Define SLOs/SLAs and implement alerting, on-call runbooks, and incident response procedures.
 
 &bull; Enforce security best practices: secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager), RBAC, and vulnerability scanning.
 
 
 Collaboration &amp; Culture:
 
 &bull; Partner with software engineers to improve developer experience and reduce deployment friction.
 
 &bull; Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps best practices documentation.
 
 &bull; Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to technical roadmap planning.
 
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 &bull; 3+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering role.
 
 &bull; Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent).
 
 &bull; Proficiency with Kubernetes &mdash; cluster management, networking, storage, RBAC, and troubleshooting.
 
 &bull; Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
 
 &bull; Solid experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
 
 &bull; Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, Python, or Go.
 
 &bull; Working knowledge of containerization with Docker and container security best practices.
 
 &bull; Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar).
 
 &bull; Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, HTTP/S, TCP/IP, load balancing.
 
 
 
 Preferred Qualifications:
 
 
 &bull; Cloud certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, CKA/CKAD, GCP Professional DevOps Engineer.
 
 &bull; Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
 
 &bull; Familiarity with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
 
 &bull; Experience with database operations and managed DB services (RDS, CloudSQL, Aurora).
 
 &bull; Knowledge of security frameworks, compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001), and DevSecOps pipelines.
 
 &bull; Experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth engineering environment.
