<div>Summary:
The buyer is responsible for sourcing and ordering products, negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, and managing supplier relationships for a growing organization. 
Essential Functions:

Responsible for all purchasing functions necessary to meet the needs of assigned customers.</li><li>
Communicate effectively across the team to maintain optimum inventory levels needed to support sales.</li><li>
Sets and drives improvement pertaining to supplier delivery, cost and inventory turns performance.</li><li>
Develop and manage vendor relationships, including but not limited to contract review, negotiations, purchasing inventory, non-inventory, transportation carriers.</li><li>
Resolve logistic related issues by working with the appropriate personnel in the organization to ensure customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Serve as a resource to resolve complex purchasing problems and issues internally and at supplier levels.</li><li>
Provide recommendations to optimize and support the supply chain processes and improvement efforts.</li><li>
Collaborate with other members of the team to support account issues, quotes; perform other related tasks as requested.</li><li>
Participate in projects as needed and provide a balanced focus on customer service; build and maintain strong working relationships with internal customers and key suppliers.</li></ul>

Required Education and Experience:
Computer proficiency with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Professional experience following purchasing policies and procedures.
Experience negotiating vendor terms, pricing, delivery, and networking.
Four-year degree or five years of buying experience. 
Preferred Education and Experience:
Knowledge of buying electronic products is highly desirable.
