Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant with X-ray certification to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting procedures, excellent patient care skills, and proficiency in radiography. This role offers an engaging environment where you will support dentists in delivering high-quality care, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and safety. The successful applicant will thrive in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to exceptional dental service.Duties<ul><li>Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards.</li><li>Assist dentists during various procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, with precision and efficiency.</li><li>Take dental X-rays using digital imaging technology, ensuring accurate positioning and patient safety.</li><li>Provide chairside assistance by handling dental instruments, managing materials, and supporting four-handed dentistry techniques for seamless workflow.</li><li>Educate patients on post-treatment care, dental terminology, and oral health practices to promote ongoing wellness.</li><li>Support the front desk by performing dental receptionist duties when needed, including appointment scheduling and patient check-in/out processes.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid X-ray certification recognized by state regulations;</li><li>Proven experience in dental assisting</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times.</li><li>Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.</li><li>Experience working with 3D scanners or other advanced imaging technologies is a plus.</li><li>Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.</li></ul>Pay: From $23.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
