At Mentor Smiles, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are currently seeking a motivated, dependable, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team and help deliver outstanding clinical care and an excellent patient experience.
Schedule
<ul><li>Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM</li>
</ul>
Key Responsibilities
<ul><li>Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines</li>
<li>Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including restorative work, crown and bridge, extractions, and Invisalign</li>
<li>Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain dental materials and instruments</li>
<li>Record treatment notes and accurately update patient charts</li>
<li>Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care</li>
<li>Maintain infection control standards and follow all safety protocols</li>
<li>Stock and organize clinical supplies</li>
<li>Support smooth daily operations and patient flow</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul><li>Previous dental assisting experience preferred</li>
<li>Current radiology certification required</li>
<li>Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or other dental software preferred</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities</li>
<li>Positive, team-oriented attitude</li>
</ul>

Position: Dental Assistant - Front Desk 
Location: Streamwood Smiles 
Status: Full-Time 
Opening Type: Addition to our growing team
Pay Range: $21 - $24 / hour
What We&rsquo;re Looking For:
<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant</li>
<li>Front desk experience preferred</li>
<li>Coronal polishing certification required</li>
<li>Sealant certification preferred</li>
<li>Must be comfortable working both front and back-office duties</li>
</ul>
Office Hours:
<ul><li>Monday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM</li>
<li>Tuesday &amp; Wednesday: 11:45 AM - 6:30 PM</li>
<li>Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM</li>
<li>Friday: 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM</li>
<li>Saturday: 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM (1 Saturday per month)</li>
</ul>
Employee schedule will vary based on office needs.
