Dental Assistants are an integral member of our team and help foster our clinically led culture. Compensation: $22-23/hour
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable</li><li>
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment</li><li>
Take dental radiographs (x-rays)</li><li>
Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment</li><li>
Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures</li><li>
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify</li><li>
X-ray certification where state regulations specify</li></ul>

Working Environment &amp; Physical Requirements
This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
