This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about luxury residential architecture and enjoys producing highly detailed construction documents for some of Palm Beach&rsquo;s finest homes.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare complete architectural construction document sets from schematic design through permit and construction.</li><li>Produce detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, architectural details, custom millwork, cabinetry, and schedules.</li><li>Interpret conceptual sketches and design intent into accurate construction drawings.</li><li>Coordinate drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, landscape, and specialty consultants.</li><li>Revise drawings based on architectural redlines, field conditions, RFIs, consultant coordination, and client revisions.</li><li>Assist with design development, architectural detailing, and presentation materials.</li><li>Maintain organized project files and drawing sets throughout all phases of design and construction.</li><li>Manage multiple projects while meeting established deadlines.</li><li>Communicate effectively with architects, designers, consultants, contractors, and clients.</li></ul>QualificationsRequired<ul><li>Minimum 4&ndash;5 years of advanced AutoCAD experience.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury custom residential architecture.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to prepare complete architectural construction document sets with minimal supervision.</li><li>Strong knowledge of South Florida residential construction methods, building systems, permitting processes, and applicable building codes.</li><li>Ability to coordinate architectural drawings with consultants.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.</li><li>Experience with SketchUp and other 3D modeling software.</li><li>Rendering and presentation graphics experience.</li></ul>Personal CharacteristicsThe ideal candidate is:<ul><li>Passionate about luxury residential architecture.</li><li>Detail-oriented and quality-focused.</li><li>Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.</li><li>Professional, dependable, and accountable.</li><li>Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.</li><li>Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.</li><li>Eager to learn, grow professionally, and take on new challenges.</li></ul>Position Details &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Full-time, Monday&ndash;Friday (9:00 A.M. &ndash; 5:00 P.M.)</li><li>In-office position located in Palm Beach, Florida, remote work is not available</li><li>Competitive salary commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications</li><li>Health Insurance</li><li>401(k)</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Excellent professional growth opportunities</li><li>Opportunity to work on some of the most distinguished custom residential estates in Palm Beach and the surrounding communities</li></ul>How to ApplyIf you have a proven background in luxury residential architecture and are looking to join a firm dedicated to timeless design, exceptional craftsmanship, and technical excellence, we encourage you to apply.Please submit your resume, portfolio, and salary requirements to info@smitharchitecturalgroup.com for consideration.We look forward to hearing from you.Benefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>AutoCAD: 4 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Palm Beach, FL 33480 (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Palm Beach, FL 33480 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
