Smith Builders is a locally owned and operated, award winning exterior renovation company that provides roofing, siding and seamless gutter installations to customers throughout Penobscot, Piscataquis, Hancock and Waldo Counties in Maine. Our growing team is currently in search of a Social Media Manager who can assist in developing content and maintain our presence across multiple social media platforms, do jobsite visits to gather photos and video content for both promotional and training purposes and to review all traffic analytics to help us level-up our marketing efforts. This is NOT a remote position.These duties have previously been handled by our current in-house staff, however a dramatic increase in business, social media and website traffic is encouraging us to develop a full-time position dedicated solely to all things related to our marketing efforts.Key responsibilities of the social media manager would include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Develop social media and advertising campaigns</li><li>Maintain advertising budget</li><li>Define KPIs and KRAs for social media campaigns</li><li>Update social media content across all channels</li><li>Engage with customers and followers</li><li>Graphic editing</li><li>Monitor campaigns and analyze data obtained</li><li>Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics</li><li>Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network</li><li>Content development for training and marketing purposes</li><li>Keeping a finger on the pulse of social media trends</li><li>Communicate effectively with management on social media strategies.</li><li>Analyzing customer engagement &amp; generate reports for management</li></ul>Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>3+ years professional content curation and social media marketing experience</li><li>Proven track record of growing and retaining social audiences</li><li>Sound knowledge of key tools including Meta, Ads Manager, Google Analytics, etc.</li><li>Paid social experience - specifically optimizing CPCs, lead generation and audience retargeting</li><li>Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, etc.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to craft engaging content</li><li>Ability to multitask and develop marketing strategies</li><li>Photography and videography production and editing</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in marketing, digital marketing, internet marketing or equivalent experience</li><li>Content development experience</li><li>Copywriting experience</li><li>Analytics capabilities</li></ul>Duties to include:<ul><li>Maintain, develop and optimize Smith Builders existing social media platform strategies including establishing new presences on emerging platforms</li><li>Monitor and pro-actively increase social traffic, growth and engagement performance across all brands</li><li>Create and review organic social and video content as well as social campaigns ensuring traffic and growth targets are met</li><li>Implement and manage paid social campaigns across multiple platforms when necessary</li><li>Transform key data into actionable insights for all content stakeholders and assist in managing the social platform relationships (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn)</li><li>Proactively identify and make recommendations on poor performing content</li><li>Analytics reporting across all platforms</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Roofing: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Glenburn, ME 04401 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Glenburn, ME 04401: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
