Position Summary:
The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting organizational effectiveness through data-driven insights and process optimization. This role serves as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure business requirements are clearly defined and implemented.
Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements for new initiatives and system enhancements.</li><li>
Process Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements using industry-standard methodologies.</li><li>
Documentation: Prepare clear and comprehensive documentation, including process maps, functional specifications, and user stories.</li><li>
Solution Design Support: Work with IT and development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.</li><li>
Testing &amp; Validation: Assist in creating test plans, performing UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and validating deliverables against requirements.</li><li>
Change Management: Communicate process changes and provide training to ensure smooth implementation.</li><li>
Continuous Improvement: Monitor KPIs and suggest enhancements to maintain alignment with organizational goals.</li><li>
Change Advisory Board: Work with IT Development and key stakeholders to prioritize and help manage the biggest impact changes for the company.</li></ul>
Minimum Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, and process improvement</li><li>
Visio, Lucidchart, or similar for process mapping</li><li>
Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar for requirement tracking</li><li>
Confluence, SharePoint, or similar knowledge repositories</li><li>
Process mapping and workflow design</li><li>
Basic database concepts (tables, relationships, data models)</li><li>
Project lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)</li></ul>
