Smith, Welch, Webb and White, LLC, currently has an opening for a Paralegal in our McDonough office. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five years of litigation experience as a legal assistant or paralegal with emphasis on federal litigation, preferably employment. This position is full-time, benefits eligible position and the hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.*Position is not remote, must work in the McDonough or Stockbridge area - Experience drafting pleadings, discovery documents, letters and witness affidavits.-Experience with client intake and consultations-Working knowledge and experience with PACER and ECF-Experience with PeachCourt and Odessey-Must have obsessive commitment to organization.- Must be excellent with time management including adherence to deadlines for litigation,depositions, and trial dates.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to receive and draft responses to all types of inquiries; relay or respond to messages;- Manage client files, obtain investigative information, organize information and prepare demandpackages.- Transcribe correspondence and recorded statements.- Must be self-motivated.- Ability to manage and prioritize caseload in accordance to attorney needs.- Must be proficient with computer and various operating systems including:Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Internet- Can do attitude.- Must be able to type a minimum of 65 wpm.Job Type: Full-timePay: $37,500.00 - $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
