Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product demonstrations, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have a passion for retail sales.Duties<ul><li>Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products to meet their needs.</li><li>Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.</li><li>Handle cash and perform cash handling duties accurately.</li><li>Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising and stocking practices.</li><li>Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.</li><li>Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to assist customers effectively.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.</li><li>Experience in retail sales.</li><li>Proficiency in using POS systems for transactions and inventory management.</li><li>Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.</li><li>Ability to perform stocking duties while maintaining an organized workspace.</li><li>Experience with merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility.</li><li>Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.</li><li>Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 &ndash; 60 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
