<div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Introduction:</b></h3><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Design, analyze, and optimize hydraulic systems for forging plants. Develop robust, safe, and cost-e&#64256;ective solutions for hydraulic power units, control valves, actuators, and &#64258;uid circuits. Collaborate with project teams across mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines to support new builds, revamps, and maintenance projects.</b></h4><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Responsibilities:</b></h3><ul><li><b>Create hydraulic system concepts and &#64257;nal designs for manifolds, reservoirs, pumps, motors, and actuators.</b></li><li><b>Perform sizing, selection, and reliability analysis of hydraulic components to meet performance, safety, and lifecycle targets.</b></li><li><b>Develop hydraulic schematics, component speci&#64257;cations, bill of materials, and installation/commissioning packages.</b></li><li><b>Conduct pressure/&#64258;ow calculations, loss analysis, and &#64258;uid dynamics simulations as required.</b></li><li><b>Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ATEX, OSHA/IEC, ISO 4413/4414, IS 10481) and working with other plant safety standards.</b></li><li><b>Collaborate with mechanical design for controls &amp; instrumentation teams to integrate systems.</b></li><li><b>Support procurement with vendor evaluation, technical queries, and assisting site team for commissioning and FATs.</b></li><li><b>Participate in risk assessments, FAT and commissioning plans; assist in troubleshooting and &#64257;eld modi&#64257;cations.</b></li><li><b>Maintain asset data &amp; design documentation.</b></li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Technical Skill Set:</b></h3><ul><li><b>Strong analytical and numerical skills; adept at performing hydraulic calculations.</b></li><li><b>Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to design documentation.</b></li><li><b>Preparing technical reports and presentation materials for stakeholders.</b></li><li><b>Solid knowledge of hydraulic theory, &#64258;uid power components &amp; seals etc.</b></li><li><b>Pro&#64257;ciency with hydraulic CAD tools (e.g., PTC Creo) and 2D AutoCAD drafting systems; familiarity with any hydraulic simulation software is a plus.</b></li><li><b>Ability to interpret P&amp;IDs, electrical schematics, and control philosophies; good reading of mechanical and process drawings.</b></li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Behavioral Skills Set:</b></h3><ul><li><b>Should have excellent interpersonal skills and with very good communication skills (both verbal and written). Should have a grasp of technical aspects, with an eye for detail.
</b></li><li><b>Should be able to interpret the meaning behind statements / action from the customer.</b></li><li><b>Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.</b></li><li><b>Proactive in issue resolution, resilience under project pressure, and commitment to quality.</b></li><li><b>Willingness to travel for site support, commissioning, and vendor visits as required.</b></li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Work Environment:</b></h3><ul><li><b>Projects span design o&#64259;ces, potential travel to customer sites, vendors, and fabrication/assembly facilities.</b></li><li><b>Works within a multidisciplinary engineering team for forging plant industry.</b></li></ul></div>

<div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications:</b></h3><ul><li><b>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mechanical engineering</b></li><li><b>12-16 years of experience in hydraulic system design, preferably in heavy industry.</b></li></ul></div><br>
