This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.</li><li>Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety at all times through vigilant child supervision and behavior management.</li><li>Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting environment conducive to learning and exploration.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns, fostering strong parent-teacher partnerships.</li><li>Help implement classroom routines such as snack time, nap time, and transitions to promote consistency and security for children.</li><li>Support children with personal care needs including diapering or toileting assistance for infants and toddlers, adhering to health and safety standards like pediatric first aid protocols.</li><li>Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in compliance with legal requirements.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.</li><li>Certification in first aid and CPR (Childhood First Aid) is required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus.</li><li>Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous.</li><li>Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork within the classroom environment.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and enthusiasm.</li><li>Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety is essential.</li></ul>Join us in shaping bright futures!
