Department: Horticulture / Landscaping Reports To: Operations Manager / General Manager Qualification: Graduate in Horticulture (B.Sc. in Horticulture preferred) Experience: Minimum 3&ndash;5 years in garden maintenance, nursery management, or horticulture operations Location: VGP Heritage, Injambakkam, Chennai - 600115. Salary Range: &#8377;18,000 &ndash; &#8377;20,000 per monthBenefits : Food and Accommodation will providedRole Overview:The Garden Maintenance &amp; Nursery In-Charge will be responsible for the upkeep of all gardens and landscaped areas within VGP Heritage, efficient management of the nursery, and accountability for plant sales. The role demands hands-on horticultural expertise, leadership skills, and a strong sense of responsibility in maintaining plant health and revenue generation.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supervise day-to-day garden and landscape maintenance, including lawns, trees, ornamental plants, and flowering beds.</li><li>Plan and execute seasonal plantation, pruning, pest/disease management, and irrigation schedules.</li><li>Manage nursery operations including propagation, grafting, potting, transplanting, and plant health monitoring.</li><li>Maintain accurate nursery inventory and ensure quality stock for plant sales.</li><li>Handle both retail and bulk plant sales with proper billing, stock movement, and revenue accountability.</li><li>Train, guide, and supervise gardeners and nursery staff; assign daily/weekly tasks.</li><li>Maintain detailed horticultural records, plant sales registers, and expense statements.</li><li>Prepare reports and development plans for garden and nursery operations.</li><li>Ensure sustainable, cost-effective horticultural practices.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, and nursery management.</li><li>Ability to identify and manage plant diseases and pests.</li><li>Leadership and staff management capabilities.</li><li>Customer advisory and sales skills for nursery operations.</li><li>Strong record-keeping, accountability, and reporting skills.</li></ul>Accountability:<ul><li>Overall upkeep and beautification of gardens and landscaped areas.</li><li>Availability, health, and growth of nursery stock.</li><li>Transparency and accuracy in plant sales and revenue.</li><li>Achievement of nursery sales targets within allocated budgets.</li></ul>Interested Candidate please contact to this Number - 7550036140Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;18,000.00 - &#8377;20,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Food provided</li></ul>Work Location: In person
