The Senior Fire &amp; Life Safety Engineer will lead the design, review, and supervision of Fire &amp; Life Safety systems, ensuring compliance with Saudi Civil Defense regulations, international standards, and project requirements, while serving as the technical authority for all fire engineering matters. 
Job Description 
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Fire Protection &amp; Fire Fighting Systems: Design, review, and coordinate sprinkler, standpipe, hose reel, fire pump, foam, clean agent, and water mist systems, including hydraulic calculations and pump room layouts.</li><li>
Fire Alarm &amp; Detection Systems: Design addressable and conventional fire alarm systems, voice evacuation, BMS integration, and prepare shop drawings and technical submittals.</li><li>
Passive Fire Protection: Review and specify fire-rated walls, doors, partitions, fire stopping, and structural fire protection; verify on-site compliance.</li><li>
Smoke Management &amp; Pressurization: Design and review smoke extraction, staircase/lobby pressurization, and car park ventilation systems; coordinate CFD studies and ensure compliance with SBC and NFPA standards.</li><li>
Emergency &amp; Life Safety: Design emergency lighting, exit signage, egress paths, and evacuation plans; prepare Fire &amp; Life Safety strategy reports.</li><li>
Fire Strategy &amp; Code Compliance: Prepare fire strategy reports, review designs for compliance with SBC, NFPA, IBC/IFC, and BS/EN standards; liaise with Saudi Civil Defense, local authorities, consultants, and clients.</li><li>
Project &amp; Technical Leadership: Lead design coordination, review contractor submissions, conduct site inspections and testing, mentor junior engineers, and support proposals and technical presentations.</li></ul> 
Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mechanical engineering, Fire Engineering, or relevant discipline.</li><li>
10+ years of experience in Fire &amp; Life Safety engineering.</li><li>
Solid hands-on experience in Saudi Arabia.</li><li>
Deep knowledge of Saudi Civil Defense approval processes.</li><li>
Experience in high-rise, mixed-use, hospitality, healthcare, and large infrastructure projects preferred.</li></ul>
Certifications (Preferred / Required)<ul><li>
CFPS (Certified Fire Protection Specialist) &ndash; NFPA</li><li>
PMP (Preferred)</li><li>
Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) Registration</li><li>
Civil Defense Approval Engineer status (advantageous)</li></ul>

Revit (BIM coordination)</li><li>
