We&rsquo;re looking for a highly creative and versatile Senior Visual Designer to bring complex concepts to life through compelling visuals. This role will own the look and feel of our corporate design assets&mdash;elevating everything from PowerPoint to digital campaigns&mdash;while also building a cohesive brand system that translates across print, digital, web, and motion.
You&rsquo;ll be the go-to creative partner across the company, transforming theoretical ideas into visuals that inspire, persuade, and engage diverse audiences. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced startup environment&mdash;ideal for someone with a strong design point of view, the ability to execute quickly, and the drive to shape a brand from the ground up.

What You&rsquo;ll Do</h3><ul><li>
Concept Visualization: Translate abstract ideas, technical concepts, and strategic frameworks into clear, visually compelling graphics and presentations.</li><li>
Presentation Design: Create sophisticated, on-brand PowerPoint presentations that serve as our most important communication tool.</li><li>
Brand Development: Help evolve and flesh out our visual identity across all touchpoints from print, digital, web, and experiential.</li><li>
Digital &amp; Print Assets: Design ads, collateral, infographics, and other creative materials to support campaigns and initiatives.</li><li>
Web &amp; Interactive Design: Contribute to website design projects, ensuring visuals align with brand guidelines and user experience best practices.</li><li>
Motion &amp; Animation: Produce light animations, GIFs, and other motion graphics to bring content to life across platforms.</li><li>
Tech Visualization &amp; Data Storytelling: Create conceptual diagrams, tech stack visuals, and data visualizations that make complex systems and insights easy to understand.</li><li>
Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, product, and executive teams to deliver high-quality creative assets on deadline.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
What You&rsquo;ll Bring</h3><ul><li>
7+ years of design experience, including hands-on work in startup environments.</li><li>
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects or similar) and Figma.</li><li>
Advanced PowerPoint and Google Slides design skills; proven ability to make presentations visually striking and clear.</li><li>
Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual work, corporate communications design, and brand development.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with fast, hands-on execution; brings a clear creative point of view.</li><li>
Experience in web design (Webflow) and basic coding (HTML/CSS) is a plus.</li><li>
Nice-to-have: photography and video editing skills to extend the brand across content formats.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities at once.</li><li>
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to interpret abstract concepts and translate them into visuals.</li><li>

Estimated Salary Range</h3><ul><li>
$120,000 - $167,000</li><li>
The range listed is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and may be modified in the future. Senior Visual Communications Designer

<div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">The Role</h3>
We&rsquo;re looking for a growth-focused marketing operations leader who knows that automation powers growth &mdash; not the other way around. This role blends hands-on martech expertise with the ability to orchestrate segmented, personalized campaigns at scale. You&rsquo;ll personally work the tools to create enviable outbound campaigns, transform our website into both a brand showcase and a high-converting performance machine, and use the latest technology to advance growth goals.
You won&rsquo;t just manage systems; you&rsquo;ll run them, connect them, and optimize them to deliver measurable results.
This role will work out of our Pier 28 headquarters in San Francisco.
Impact You&rsquo;ll Own:<ul><li>
Architect &amp; run the marketing engine &mdash; integrate, optimize, and personally operate our martech stack (OutboundSync, Clay, Instantly, HubSpot, Webflow, SEMrush, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and more) to deliver high-impact, scalable programs.</li><li>
Create enviable outbound programs &mdash; Own, execute, and optimize campaigns, including email, SEM, paid social, webinars, sponsored content, customer lifecycle marketing, and more &mdash; to exceed lead and conversion goals.</li><li>
Own reporting &amp; actionable insights &mdash; track what&rsquo;s working, eliminate what&rsquo;s not, and make recommendations that tie automation directly to business outcomes. Build and maintain robust campaign tracking and lead attribution systems using HubSpot, Google Tag Manager, and GA4 to ensure data accuracy and actionable insights.</li><li>
Deeply understand our target audiences &mdash; across shipping, marine sensing, academia and government &mdash; to create campaign, content, and channel strategies that drive results.</li><li>
Turn the website into a growth powerhouse &mdash; manage Webflow to ensure the site works as hard as you do: driving conversions, capturing leads, and telling our story. Use personalization to drive users down funnel and optimize SEO for discoverability.</li><li>
Leverage AI to accelerate results &mdash; use AI-powered tools and workflows to scale personalization, optimize targeting, and increase efficiency across campaigns.</li><li>
Focus on growth, not busywork &mdash; ensure every automation, integration, and campaign directly supports pipeline, revenue, or brand objectives.</li><li>
Distribution and Discovery is the message &mdash; ensure visibility through channel optimization and testing new areas of growth. You know SEM but understand generative AI is where the real growth is at. You&rsquo;ve worked on social distribution and some paid efforts (SEM, retargeting).</li></ul>
About You<ul><li>
You are a growth hacker at heart with experience in traditional growth marketing and performance marketing.</li><li>
6+ years in marketing (or revenue) operations, campaign management, or growth marketing with a proven record of scaling programs through automation and technology.</li><li>
Skilled in hands-on execution &mdash; you don&rsquo;t just delegate tool use, you run them yourself to deliver results.</li><li>
Expert in Webflow or other CMS &mdash; able to optimize the website for both branding and measurable performance outcomes. You have also launched or relaunched a website.</li><li>
Highly skilled in HubSpot, Clay, Google Tag Manager, GA4, and comfortable with advanced martech integrations.</li><li>
Proficient in using AI tools to enhance personalization, targeting, and overall campaign effectiveness. If it doesn&rsquo;t exist now, you can build it.</li><li>
Data-driven, results-oriented, and relentless about improving processes and performance.</li><li>
Thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.</li></ul>
