<div><b>Role Summary</b><br>
</div><div>Provides cybersecurity protection, monitoring, and incident response for all City systems. Supports MDR endpoint protection, SOC monitoring, firewall security, and incident notification requirements.<br>
</div><div><b>Mandatory Requirements</b><br>
</div><ul><li>Must provide MDR for ~250 endpoints</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Must provide 24/7 SOC monitoring</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Must notify City within <b>1 hour</b> of confirmed security incident</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Must maintain a documented incident response plan</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Must retain security logs for minimum <b>90 days</b></li></ul><br>
<div><b>Roles &amp; Responsibilities</b><br>
</div><ul><li>Monitor security events and alerts</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Investigate and escalate cybersecurity incidents</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Manage endpoint protection and threat detection</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Maintain and update incident response plan</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Provide firewall threat protection and next‑gen firewall management</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Conduct vulnerability scanning and provide remediation recommendations</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Support quarterly network health reviews and security posture reporting</li></ul><br>
<div><b>Education Qualification</b><br>
</div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Preferred certifications: Security+, CySA+, CEH, CISSP (optional but valuable)</li></ul><br>
<div><b>Experience Required</b><br>
</div><ul><li>3&ndash;5 years of cybersecurity monitoring or SOC experience</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Experience with MDR platforms, endpoint protection, SIEM tools</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Experience responding to security incidents and producing reports</li></ul></div></div>
