 Position Overview:
 
 
 
 SoftWave TRT is a fast-growing medical device company revolutionizing regenerative medicine with FDA-cleared shockwave therapy devices used by top healthcare providers nationwide.
 
 
 SoftWave is seeking a Service Technician to repair, refurbishment, and preventative maintenance of SoftWave shockwave therapy systems. This hands-on role requires mechanical and electrical proficiency to ensure all equipment meets operational, quality, safety, and regulatory standards before return to service.
 
 
 This is an on-site, full-time position based in Marietta, GA. Standard day shift Monday&ndash;Friday; occasional overtime may be required to meet service demand.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 Device &amp; Applicator Repair:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assess incoming devices and applicators to determine the type and scope of service required
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform cleaning of applicators and water cartridges upon receipt
 </li>
 <li>
 Disassemble, inspect, refurbish, and reassemble shockwave therapy devices and applicators following work instructions, safety, and quality standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and component-level issues across devices and applicators
 </li>
 <li>
 Replace worn or defective parts (e.g., pressure sensors, tubing, pumps and other electrical components)
 </li>
 <li>
 Accurately document refurbishments, repairs, parts used, and test results in accordance with FDA (Quality System Regulation) and ISO 13485 requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete data entry into appropriate systems (e.g., Excel spreadsheets, service records)
 </li>
 <li>
 Use hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and soldering iron safely and effectively
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform final functional verification on each device before release to inventory
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; support continuous improvement efforts; other duties as assigned

 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 Required:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum experience: 1&ndash;3 years of experience in electronics, electromechanical, or medical device repair (or equivalent hands-on experience)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with precision components
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with hand soldering
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic understanding of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting methods
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read and follow technical documentation, work instructions, and sanitization procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Competent in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
 </li>
 <li>
 High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, and quality
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience working with Class I or Class II medical devices
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements including ISO13485
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working in NetSuite
 </li>
 <li>
 Hand soldering certification
 </li>
 <li>
 Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) credential or equivalent
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
