The Opportunity

We're seeking a Senior Architect to join our growing team and help shape the future of healthcare technology. In this role, you&rsquo;ll lead the modernization and expansion of our product portfolio, driving architectural strategy and technical excellence across our suite of products.

Location: Hybrid &ndash; Pittsburgh, PA (Core office days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Reports to: VP, Software Engineering

What You'll Do
<ul><li>Collaborate with other architects to ensure consistent technical direction across products</li><li>Lead the design and development of scalable software solutions</li><li>Set architectural direction in partnership with senior leadership</li><li>Guide build/buy/partner decisions and evaluate emerging technologies</li><li>Provide mentorship and technical leadership to engineering teams</li><li>Develop proofs of concept and provide estimates for new initiatives</li><li>Champion secure coding practices and architectural standards</li><li>Continuously improve personal and team capabilities through learning and feedback</li><li>Engage, educate, and collaborate with teammates daily</li></ul>

What We're Looking For
<div>
Required: 
<ul><li>MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience</li><li>Experience designing systems independently (upgrade or greenfield)</li><li>Proven leadership in enterprise system re-platforming</li><li>Strong software application design and development skills</li><li>Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms</li><li>Experience with secure coding practices and industry standards</li><li>Familiarity with SOLID principles, IOC/DI, ORM, and unit testing</li><li>Experience with multi-threading and concurrency</li><li>Relational database design experience (SQL, Oracle, MySQL)</li><li>Source control experience (Git, TFS, SVN)</li><li>Strong customer service orientation</li></ul></div>

Preferred: 
<ul><li>Experience resolving software and workflow challenges creatively</li><li>Microsoft tech stack experience: .NET Framework / .NET Core (C#), WPF, MVVM, Entity Framework, SQL Server</li><li>Web/mobile development experience: JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, React Native, REST APIs, Electron, Native iOS/Android, CSS, SASS, LESS</li><li>CI pipeline setup and management</li><li>Database performance tuning</li><li>Cloud technologies</li><li>Familiarity with HIPAA data requirements</li><li>Understanding of governance and security frameworks</li></ul></div>
