 Role Overview
 
 
 
 
 
 
 We are looking for a security-focused Pre-Sales Consultant to support our strategic engagement with a large private sector bank. This is a highly consultative role involving close interaction with:

 CISO &amp; Security Leadership
 </li>
 <li>
 Risk &amp; Compliance teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Audit &amp; Governance functions
 </li>
 <li>
 IT Architecture &amp; Infrastructure teams
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 The role focuses on shaping security-led solutions, driving new pipeline, and positioning Softcell as a trusted long-term partner in regulatory, cyber resilience, and transformation initiatives.
 
 
 
 
 
 While cybersecurity is the primary focus, the consultant should also have working knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, and modern enterprise architectures.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 1. Regulatory &amp; Compliance Engagement
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead security discovery aligned to RBI Cyber Security Framework (CSF)
 </li>
 <li>
 Engage on CERT-In directions &amp; compliance requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Support initiatives driven by: IDRBT (Banking technology &amp; security research), IFTAS (Cyber resilience &amp; threat intelligence for BFSI), Sahamati / Account Aggregator ecosystem (Data protection, consent, security controls)
 </li>
 <li>
 Align solutions with audit, governance, and regulatory expectations
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 2. Solution Design &amp; Positioning
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design and position solutions across: Network &amp; Cloud Security, Identity &amp; Access Management (IAM), Data Protection &amp; DLP, SOC / SIEM / SOAR, Vulnerability Management &amp; Red Teaming
 </li>
 <li>
 Translate regulatory requirements into technical architectures
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 3. Consultative Sales Support
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead PoCs, PoVs, workshops, and solution demos
 </li>
 <li>
 Support sales teams with: Technical presentations, Architecture documents, Solution proposals, Engage with OEM technical teams and Softcell specialists
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 4. Emerging Security Domains
 
 : Identify use cases in:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 AI / ML Security
 </li>
 <li>
 Quantum-resistant cryptography
 </li>
 <li>
 Zero Trust &amp; SASE
 </li>
 <li>
 API Security
 </li>
 <li>
 Cloud-native security
 </li>

 5. Stakeholder Communication
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Translate technical risk into business outcomes
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain strong documentation aligned with: Audit, Governance, Regulatory reviews
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Required Skills &amp; Experience
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 8+ years in Cybersecurity Pre-Sales / Consulting / Architecture
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong exposure to BFSI / regulated enterprise environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on understanding of: Security architectures, RBI CSF, CERT-In CSF, ISO 27001, NIST, Enterprise security platforms
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of: IT Infrastructure (Servers, Networks, Virtualisation), Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience engaging with: CISO / CIO, Risk &amp; Compliance, Audit teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable leading workshops and PoCs
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Good to have
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Exposure to: SOC operations, Red Teaming, Compliance &amp; audit programs
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with: IDRBT / IFTAS security initiatives, Account Aggregator security models
 </li>
 <li>
 Emerging security domains (AI, Quantum, Zero Trust)
 </li>
 <li>
 Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, etc.Experience with large OEM ecosystems
 </li>
