Job Summary:
Softech-Inc is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to lead data-driven initiatives and provide actionable insights that drive business strategy. This role involves analyzing complex datasets, managing large-scale data projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis &amp; Reporting<ul><li>
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.</li><li>
Develop and deliver interactive dashboards and detailed reports for stakeholders using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.</li><li>
Interpret data to provide actionable recommendations that align with business goals.</li></ul>
2. Strategic Decision Support<ul><li>
Partner with business units to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with company objectives.</li><li>
Conduct predictive and prescriptive analyses to forecast outcomes and optimize decision-making processes.</li></ul>
3. Data Management &amp; Governance<ul><li>
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all systems and platforms.</li><li>
Collaborate with data engineers to design and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures.</li><li>
Advocate for and implement best practices in data governance and security.</li></ul>
4. Leadership &amp; Mentorship<ul><li>
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and team members.</li><li>
Lead data projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business priorities.</li><li>
Stay current on industry trends and emerging analytics tools and techniques.</li></ul>
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>
Work closely with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.</li><li>
Translate business needs into analytical solutions, ensuring alignment between technical implementation and strategic objectives.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master&rsquo;s preferred).</li><li>5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.</li><li>Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.</li><li>Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.</li><li>Expertise in statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) and familiarity with machine learning frameworks.</li><li>Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.</li><li>Demonstrated experience managing large datasets and working with cloud-based data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Advanced degree in a relevant field.</li><li>Experience in a specific domain such as finance, healthcare, or e-commerce.</li><li>Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.</li><li>Certifications in data analytics, such as Tableau Desktop Specialist or AWS Data Analytics.</li></ul></div>
