Role Overview</b></div><div>
The <b>Specialist (Procurement)</b> in this role assists SoftwareOne&rsquo;s customers in providing price quotes from publishers and updating them in ERP System as per standards within SLA. Acting as a liaison SoftwareOne&rsquo;s subsidiaries and various publishers and suppliers, the team handles a wide range of tasks that drive business growth with efficiency, accuracy, and speed.</div><div>
Responsibilities include leading customer data, handling price inquiries &amp; coordinating renewals along with publisher expertise of basic level. This role significantly improves customer relationships and optimizes operational efficiency throughout these activities.</div><p></p><p><b><br>
Roles and Responsibiities</b></p><ul><li>
Responsible for prioritizing quotes from publishers and suppliers.</li><li>
Maintains basic level knowledge of service and solution offerings specific to publisher and is a customer facing resource for sales activities alongside SoftwareOne resources.</li><li>
Researches and gathers all vital information to complete tasks.</li><li>
Supports requests from customers, partners, sales representatives, and other operations team members.</li><li>
Establishes and maintains relationships with publishers and distributors.</li><li>
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on publisher&rsquo;s Products and Licensing for internal contacts and customers</li></ul>

<b>What we need to see from you</b><br>
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s/Master&rsquo;s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, supply chain (preferred)</li><li>
Excellent written &amp; verbal skills.</li><li>
Prior experience in software procurement and customer-facing roles</li><li>
Curiosity about attention to detail</li><li>
Good problem-solving, consultative, and research skills.</li><li>
Basic software licensing knowledge of Tier 1/ 2 publishers (is added advantage)</li></ul>

    Build secure and scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Tekton, or GitLab CI.

    Automate infrastructure and day to day tasks with Ansible and Terraform.
   </span>
  </li>

    Manage RHEL systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
   </span>
  </li>

    Partner with development teams on microservices and container strategy.
   </span>
  </li>
  <li>
   <span>
    Strengthen monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
   </span>

    Strong background in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE work.
   </span>

    Deep understanding of OpenShift and Kubernetes operations.

    Confident working with RHEL and Linux based systems.
   </span>
  </li>
  <li>
   <span>
    Hands on experience with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
   </span>
  </li>

    Ability to script in Bash, Python, or Go.

    Comfortable working with Git and GitOps tools like ArgoCD.
