 The Director of Procurement will establish and lead Sojo Industries&rsquo; procurement function, ensuring efficient sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and risk mitigation. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability to build policies and systems; possesses outstanding negotiation and contracting skills; and can work collaboratively across departments.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish policies, processes, and controls for sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiate contracts and strategic partnerships to ensure favorable terms, quality, and service.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage supplier performance, risk, and compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate across all company departments to support procurement needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with Quality department to ensure supplier standards are established and followed
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement spend analytics and reporting to track savings and supplier KPIs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive continuous improvement in procurement practices and vendor relationships.
 </li>
 <li>
 All other tasks as assigned
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
 </li>
 <li>
 10+ years of progressive procurement experience, including leadership roles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience implementing procurement policies, processes, and technology systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings and operational improvements.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Preferred Certifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CIPS, or PMP.
 </li>
 </ul>
