Property BookkeeperSojourn | Full-Time | Finance &amp; AccountingMissionTo support the financial integrity of Sojourn&rsquo;s portfolio by delivering accurate, timely, and transparent financial records&mdash;ensuring our owners experience the same clarity and confidence that our guests feel in every stay.Position OverviewThe Property Bookkeeper plays a critical role in the day-to-day financial operations of Sojourn&rsquo;s managed portfolio. Working closely with the Senior Property Accountant, this role ensures that all transactions are recorded accurately, accounts are reconciled consistently, and financial data is organized in a way that supports both internal decision-making and owner reporting.This is a detail-driven role that sits at the intersection of accounting accuracy, operational support, and owner transparency. You are not simply recording numbers&mdash;you are helping translate financial activity into clear, reliable insights.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Recordkeeping &amp; Accuracy<ul><li>Maintain accurate financial records across assigned properties</li><li>Record, classify, and reconcile daily financial transactions using Excel and accounting software</li><li>Ensure all entries align with internal standards and accounting best practices</li></ul>2. Accounts Payable &amp; Transaction Support<ul><li>Assist in processing vendor invoices and payments in a timely manner</li><li>Ensure expenses are properly coded, documented, and allocated</li><li>Support internal controls by verifying accuracy before payment processing</li></ul>3. Bank &amp; Account Reconciliations<ul><li>Perform regular bank and account reconciliations</li><li>Identify discrepancies and work proactively toward resolution</li><li>Ensure all accounts are balanced and audit-ready</li></ul>4. Owner Reporting Support<ul><li>Compile and organize financial data for monthly owner statements</li><li>Support the preparation of clean, accurate, and transparent reports</li><li>Ensure all reporting reflects real-time operational activity</li></ul>5. Systems &amp; Data Management<ul><li>Utilize accounting and property management systems to manage financial data</li><li>Maintain clean, organized records across platforms</li><li>Support continuous improvement of workflows and financial processes</li></ul>6.
