 Role Overview
 
 
 We are looking for a
 
 Solar Engineer
 
 with strong technical expertise in the design, execution, and commissioning of solar PV systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with solar project engineering, site surveys, structural and electrical design, and should be comfortable coordinating between design, procurement, and installation teams.
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and load analysis for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Design solar PV systems (DC &amp; AC side) using tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, SketchUp, or any other tool
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare single line diagrams (SLD), layouts, cable schedules, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform shading analysis and optimize system performance and tilt/azimuth angles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure technical specifications are met.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in vendor evaluation and material inspection (modules, inverters, structures, cables, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee project execution, installation quality, and system testing &amp; commissioning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare project documentation, DPRs (Daily Progress Reports), and as-built drawings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support O&amp;M team with performance analysis and troubleshooting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stay updated on latest MNRE/CEA guidelines, DISCOM regulations, and industry best practices.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Skills &amp; Qualifications
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Energy Engineering (or related field).
 </li>
 <li>
 1&ndash;3 years of experience in solar EPC design or project execution (freshers with strong technical skills may be considered).
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in
 
 AutoCAD, PVsyst, MS Excel,or
 
 any related tool.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of
 
 solar PV components
 
 , balance of system, and grid integration.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with
 
 MNRE
 
 , DISCOM net-metering procedures, and electrical safety standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Certification or training in Solar PV Design / Project Management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in both
 
 on-grid and hybrid/off-grid systems
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of
 
 structure design and load calculations
 
 for rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
 </li>
