As a Principal Owner you will work closely with stakeholders across engineering, technical operations, client services, marketing, sales, and research to set and facilitate execution of tactical roadmap priorities, , provide business input and direction to product development, and communicate product updates to internal and external customers.</div><div></div><div>
Responsibilities</div><div></div><ul><li>
Partner with the cross-functional teams to ensure that the product stories and epics meet market and customer requirements.</li><li>
Continuously collect and interpret market needs from clients, internal users, through market research, and synthesize findings to assist product leadership with strategies.</li><li>
Ability to break down complex product requirements into actionable user stories</li><li>
Contribute to road map planning processes based on subject matter expertise within your product purview.</li><li>
Deliver product specific data and insights based on analysis to inform product and operations business reviews</li><li>
Collaborate with marketing to develop product launch and sales training materials that articulate product value and differentiation to the target market</li><li>
Ensure scrum processes and ceremonies for engineering are followed (prioritize the backlog, create stories, coordinate and oversee release planning and execution, ensure process improvements through retrospectives, and track velocity/burndown)</li><li>
Develop cross-functional relationships working closely with product engineering, support, marketing, sales, and data science teams to ensure that internal teams have access to product information needed to succeed in their roles</li><li>
3-5 years experience</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to balance longer-term strategic thinking against more tactical execution of shorter-term deliverables</li><li>
Ability to translate needs and requirements from internal and external stakeholders into a defined set of action plans</li><li>
Experience negotiating priorities, trade offs, and timelines for product initiatives</li><li>
Excellent written and oral communications skills as well as comfort using those skills to drive change and alignment</li><li>
Ownership mentality with strong initiative to achieve results</li><li>
Ability to manage and maintain continuity in high paced and dynamic environments</li><li>
Self-motivated and ability to motivate others</li><li>
Excellent project management, prioritization and decision-making skills</li><li>
Strong strategic analytic and problem solving skills with the ability to establish KPI frameworks and controls to achieve desired business outcomes<br>
