With extensive experience in the short-term rental industry, we help clients transform properties into standout destinations that drive bookings and profitability.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a part-time creative, detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team in Scottsdale, AZ on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality and short-term rental design who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.The Junior Interior Designer will assist with the design and execution of interior spaces for short-term rental, renovation, and hospitality projects. Responsibilities include space planning, design development, FF&amp;E selection, construction documentation, and coordination with vendors and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.<ul><li>Assist in the design and execution of hospitality and short-term rental projects</li><li>Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials</li><li>Support space planning and furniture layouts</li><li>Source and specify FF&amp;E (Furniture, Fixtures &amp; Equipment)</li><li>Prepare and revise construction drawings and design documentation</li><li>Assist with installations, styling, and on-site project execution</li><li>Maintain organized project files, schedules, and selections</li><li>Stay current on interior design trends, hospitality concepts, and STR market insights</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelors in Interior Design or Related Field.</li><li>Familiarity with Interior Design and FF&amp;E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection</li><li>Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture fundamentals</li><li>Experience creating and reading Construction Drawings</li><li>Keen eye for detail and creativity in developing design concepts</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills</li><li>Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or related tools</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field</li><li>1+ years of experience in the short-term rental industry or hospitality projects.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects</li><li>Willingness and ability to travel to job sites as needed</li></ul>Why Join Solstizio?<ul><li>Opportunity to work on unique and trend-forward hospitality projects</li><li>Exposure to the fast-growing short-term rental industry</li><li>Hands-on experience from concept through installation</li><li>Flexible part-time schedule with growth potential</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>short term rental designing: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Scottsdale, AZ 85251
