SnapCo. is seeking a Digital Organizer &amp; Content Creator who can manage our social media strategy, create compelling content, and engage our online community through a digital organizing lens.Postion Overview:The Digital Organizer &amp; Content Creator expands SnapCo.&rsquo;s digital presence, deepens relationships with our online community, and converts digital engagement into powerful real-world action and membership.The Digital Organizer will:<ul><li>Plan and manage SnapCo.&rsquo;s social media schedule</li><li>Create high-quality digital content (graphics + short form video/reels)</li><li>Engage followers and build relationships</li><li>Use social media as an organizing tool to move people toward membership, action, and deeper involvement</li><li>Manage SnapCo.&rsquo;s social media platforms, primarily Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube.</li></ul>Primary Responsibilities&#8203;Social Media Strategy &amp; Planning&#8203;<ul><li>Develop and maintain a consistent social media content calendar aligned with SnapCo.&rsquo;s organizing goals</li><li>Plan monthly and weekly digital strategy that supports political education, storytelling, base building, and membership engagement</li><li>Write mission-aligned captions and calls to action for all scheduled posts</li><li>Analyze trends, engagement metrics, and platform performance to refine strategy</li></ul>Social Media Management &amp; Engagement<ul><li>Post and schedule content across SnapCo.&rsquo;s primary platforms: Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube</li><li>Utilize Hootsuite for content scheduling, planning, and performance monitoring</li><li>Maintain daily engagement by responding to comments, direct messages, story mentions, and tags across platforms</li><li>Run DM-based welcome series and soft outreach workflows to help onboard new followers into SnapCo.&rsquo;s ecosystem</li><li>Provide live or near-live social media coverage for SnapCo. events, actions, and community programs</li><li>Track engagement to help identify highly involved supporters who may become members or volunteers</li></ul>Content Creation (Graphic Design &amp; Video Production)<ul><li>Create visually compelling social media graphics, carousels, flyers, and promotional materials using Canva</li><li>Produce short-form video content for Instagram Reels, including filming, editing, and collaborating with staff and community members</li><li>Appear on camera to support storytelling, updates, and organizational messaging</li><li>Capture event footage at SnapCo. programs, actions, and gatherings</li><li>Edit videos using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or comparable software</li><li>Ensure all content meets accessibility standards (captions, alt text, plain language)</li></ul>Community Engagement &amp; Digital Organizing<ul><li>Build authentic relationships with followers through intentional online engagement</li><li>Support recruitment into membership and leadership pipelines through digital touch points</li><li>Respond to community questions, redirect individuals to SnapCo. resources, and surface urgent inquiries to the Communications team</li><li>Promote petitions, events, and real-world organizing opportunities through strategic calls to action</li><li>Assist in storytelling and narrative shift work that uplifts Black trans and queer experience</li></ul>Research &amp; Trend Analysis<ul><li>Identify relevant topics, social media trends, and cultural moments that strengthen digital storytelling</li><li>Conduct research to support political education content and community narratives</li><li>Make recommendations for new formats, series, and content ideas</li></ul>Team Support &amp; Collaboration<ul><li>Attend weekly team meetings and check-ins with the Director of Communications</li><li>Collaborate with Membership, Campaigns, and Community Defense teams to support cross-departmental needs</li><li>Participate in brainstorming sessions and content development work</li><li>Support the Communications department in rapid-response organizing moments</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in social media management (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)</li><li>Demonstrated experience in graphic design (Canva required)</li><li>Demonstrated experience creating and editing short-form video content</li><li>Ability to appear on camera and direct others on camera</li><li>Experience writing compelling captions and messages with clear calls to action</li><li>Strong understanding of digital engagement and community-centered communication</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong cultural competency with Black, trans, queer, and Southern communities</li><li>Highly motivated to end the criminalization of Black trans and queer people in Georgia</li><li>Commitment to racial, gender, and economic justice</li></ul>Knowledge &amp; Skills<ul><li>Organized, creative, self-directed, and team-oriented</li><li>Strong communication and listening skills</li><li>Experience navigating conflict or tension in digital environments with care</li><li>Commitment to trauma-informed and anti-carceral approaches</li><li>Willingness to enter a 90-day probationary period before permanent employment;
