Job Description Summary:
The Technical Service Technician level 1 is responsible for supporting PV corrective maintenance and repairs, on SE projects as well as supporting third party repairs and repowers with labor support. 
 
This role is located full-time on a jobsite in Texas and will require travel. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
<ul><li>Direct and take responsibility for safety regulations and work procedures for the team</li><li>
Understand, follow, and communicate safety regulations and work procedures</li><li>
Coordinates both 3rd party and SOLV O&amp;M repairs.</li><li>
Creates value added services to existing contractual work.</li><li>
Field installation of electrical components.</li><li>
Train and support various regions in PV installations.</li><li>
Ability to travel at least 50% of the year.</li><li>
Support SOLV sites with various O&amp;M needs.</li><li>
Implement repairs to unfamiliar solar equipment, systems, and plants with a minimum amount of training and familiarization safely</li><li>

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

Demonstrate advanced computer operation skills</li><li>
Advanced working knowledge of protection devices, control devices, power supplies, loads, conductors, inverters and transformers</li><li>
Ability to pass an exam on international and domestic electrical schematics and symbols</li><li>

Valid NFPA 70e Safety Training certification</li><li>

Ability to provide detailed costs and services needed to the PM teams for pricing so they can make accurate estimates</li><li>
Ability to find and work with various vendors, as well as understanding the scopes requested.</li><li>
Ability to know the safety aspects of having other contractors onsite, and the safety requirements</li><li>
To know the proper way to handle a security or safety issues, or who to reach out to if these events occur</li><li>
Ability to train other techs and know their strengths and weaknesses on onsite items as well as other job activities</li><li>

The Services Project Manager will provide support to the SOLV team and will be responsible for newly onboarded PV Power Plants, ensuring peak performance of financials coupled with full compliance of all contractual obligations. The Project Manager will play a leadership role within the organization and work closely with all stakeholders to provide best in class fleet operations.

Able to perform Business Operations Coordinator role responsibilities (refer to position descriptions).</li><li>
Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases.</li><li>
Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure their compliance with contract terms, scope of work, and schedule.</li><li>
Develop and maintain good relationship with Owners, subcontractors and SOLV team.</li><li>
Encourage positive relationships between SOLV field teams and the Owners through conversation.</li><li>
Support SOLV Field team to meet contractual terms, maximize plant production and availability, and enhance fee.</li><li>
Responsible for on-boarding of all aspects of facility</li><li>

In partnership with superintendent team, plan, execute, and take responsibility for significant scopes of self-performed work, managing very large labor crews. Plan sequencing, crew-sizes, productivity goals, and monthly labor spend. Execute work and track actual results, adjusting and refining forecasts to reflect actual production</li><li>
Work with Superintendent to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures</li><li>
Oversee preparation of project billings; seek to maximize cash flow in and reduce pay cycles through diligent &amp; strategic billing preparation. Prioritize the collection of aged receivables and review their status regularly in Owner meetings and conversations.</li><li>
Present and negotiate change orders with owner for timely resolution.</li><li>
Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases</li><li>
Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval and material delivery</li><li>
