<b>What you will be doing:</b><ul><li>
Implementing ingestion pipelines, using Airflow as the orchestration platform, for consuming data from a wide variety of sources (API, SFTP, Cloud Storage Bucket, etc.).</li><li>
Implementing transformation pipelines using software engineering best practices and tools (DBT)</li><li>
Working closely with Software Engineering and DevOps to maintain reproducible infrastructure and data that serves both API-only customers and in-house SaaS products</li><li>
Defining and implementing data ingestion/transformation quality control processes using established frameworks (Pytest, DBT)</li><li>
Building pipelines that use multiple technologies and cloud environments (for example, an Airflow pipeline pulling a file from an S3 bucket and loading the data into BigQuery)</li><li>
Create and ensure data automation stability with associated monitoring tools.</li><li>
Review existing and proposed infrastructure for architectural enhancements that follow both software engineering and data analytics best practices.</li><li>
Working closely with Data Science and facilitating advanced data analysis (like Machine Learning)</li></ul><b>
What you bring to the table:</b><ul><li>
Strong working knowledge of Apache Airflow</li><li>
Experience supporting a SaaS or DaaS product, bonus points if you were creating new data products/features</li><li>
Strong in Linux environments and experience in scripting languages</li><li>
Python Expert</li><li>
Strong understanding of software best practices and associated tools.</li><li>
Experience in any major RDBMS (MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server, etc.).</li><li>
Strong SQL Skills, bonus points for having used both T-SQL and Standard SQL</li><li>
Experience with NoSQL (Elasticsearch, MongoDB, etc.)</li><li>
Multi-cloud and/or hybrid-cloud experience</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>
Comfortable working directly with data providers, including non-technical individuals</li><li>

The Impact You Will Have:</b></div><div></div><div><br>
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Billing, Credit, and Collections to lead our billing and collections functions. This role provides the strategic vision for these functions while providing oversight of the day to day operations of these teams. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to; managing the daily work-flow of the department, partnering closely with the Sales and Revenue teams to manage client orders and billings on time, analyze payment trends including DSO and bad debt. Additionally responsibilities process improvement, providing subject matter expertise to various company stakeholders, support month-end close and meeting Audit and control requirements.</div><div></div><div><br>
The Manager will manage two key teams: an invoicing team of approximately 4 professionals located in both Geneva, Switzerland and Austin, TX, responsible for generating and dispatching invoices, and a collections team of 3 professionals also in Geneva and Austin.

Leadership and Management:</b></li><li>
Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically distributed team of 7 professionals, including an invoicing team of 4 and a collections team of 3 across Geneva and Austin.</li><li>
Set team goals, performance metrics, and professional development plans for team members in both locations.</li><li>
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment across different time zones and cultures.</li><div></div><li><b><br>
Billing Operations:</b></li><li>
Oversee the generation and distribution of accurate and timely invoices for all locations.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations from the issuing legal entity (primarily Switzerland).</li><li>
Implement and maintain efficient billing processes and systems across all locations.</li><li>
Address and resolve complex billing issues and customer inquiries from a global customer base.</li><li>
Manages high level billing escalations and makes related business decisions</li><div></div><li><b><br>
Accounts Receivable Management:</b></li><li>
Manage the accounts receivable aging process and implement strategies to reduce outstanding balances for all regions.</li><li>
Manage credit risk while ensuring the DSO and dilution on accounts is kept within acceptable limits</li><li>
Monitor customer payment behavior and proactively address potential delinquencies across various regions.</li><li>
Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status and collection activities from both locations.</li><div></div><li><b><br>
Process Improvement:</b></li><li>
Meet with the Revenue Operations director and Sales Operations teams to Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the billing and accounts receivable functions, considering the geographical distribution.</li><li>
Utilize technology and automation to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort across Geneva and Austin.</li><li>
Develop and maintain documentation of key processes and procedures accessible to all team members.</li><div></div><li><b><br>
Financial Reporting:</b></li><li>
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of billing and accounts receivable data for consolidated reporting.</li><li>
Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities.</li><li>

Collaboration:</b></li><li>
Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Customer Success, and Finance, in both Geneva and Austin to ensure alignment and resolve issues.</li><li>

</b></h3><ul><li><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.</li><li>
8+ years of experience in billing and accounts receivable management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing teams in multiple locations.</li><li>
Proven track record of managing billing and collections teams effectively across different geographic regions.</li><li>
Strong understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition, and credit management.</li><li>
Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems.</li><li>
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and globally distributed environment and manage multiple priorities.</li><div></div><li><b><br>
