Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair truck and trailer refrigeration units, including APUs.</li>
<li>Perform diagnostics using scanners, electronic test equipment, and onboard computer systems.</li>
<li>Complete preventative maintenance, component replacement, and general servicing of refrigeration systems.</li>
<li>Review shop orders and perform repairs including Freon leak detection, part replacement, soldering, and welding.</li>
<li>Install new refrigeration units on trailers, trucks, and vans as needed.</li>
<li>Occasionally travel to customer sites to perform mobile diagnostics or repairs.</li>
<li>Operate vehicles safely and within all applicable traffic and environmental regulations.</li>
<li>Follow all company and equipment safety procedures while performing duties.</li>
<li>Perform additional duties as assigned by management in alignment with dealership objectives.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>3-5 years of experience diagnosing and repairing transport refrigeration units (Thermo King, Carrier, etc.)</li>
<li>Proficient with diagnostic tools, scanners, and basic computer systems.</li>
<li>Skilled in soldering, welding, and refrigerant leak detection and repair.</li>
<li>EPA 608/609 refrigerant certification preferred (or ability to obtain).</li>
<li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to travel to customer sites when required.</li>
<li>Strong attention to safety, detail, and quality of work in a fast-paced environment.</li>
