Role Summary</b></div><div>
As an MDR Threat Analyst, you will work with enterprise systems, log analysis systems, and endpoint collection systems to facilitate the investigation, identification and neutralization of cyber threats. You will work alongside and contribute to a team of analysts with the objective of providing best in class monitoring, detection and response services.</div></div>

Handle escalations from level I Threat Analysts - guide / advise on investigation handling</li><li>
On-board and train new Threat Analysts</li><li>
Participate in Security Operations process improvement and creation</li><li>
Provide detection and response to security events and cyber-threats</li><li>
Conduct security log management and monitoring</li><li>
Maintain information security metrics</li><li>
Provide assistance to core security and threat response teams</li><li>
Create MDR service-related reports</li><li>
Create cases for clients</li><li>
Track and follow up with client through threat neutralization</li><li>
Interact with clients via various mediums</li><li>
Actively research recent Indicators or Compromise/Attack, exploits and vulnerabilities</li><li>
Obtain metrics for reporting on threat trends, intelligence analysis and situational awareness</li></ul></li></ul></div></div>
<div><div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What you will bring</b></h3><ul><li><ul><li>
4+ years of experience working in a SOC environment or computer security team in an IT environment</li><li>
Endpoint and network security experience required; IDS, IPS, EDR, ATP, Malware defenses and monitoring experience</li><li>
Threat hunting experience preferred</li><li>
Knowledge of common adversary tactics and techniques, e.g., obfuscation, persistence, defense evasion, etc.</li><li>
Knowledge of Mitre ATT&amp;CK framework preferred</li><li>
Working knowledge of incident response procedures</li><li>
Experience with SQL query construction preferred</li><li>
Experience with OSQuery is a plus</li><li>
Experience administering and supporting Windows OS (both workstations and server) and one of the following: Apple or Linux-based operating systems (e.g. XP, Windows 7, 2003, 2008, OS X)</li><li>
Fundamental understanding of network traffic analysis including TCP/IP, routing, switching, protocols, etc.</li><li>
Strong understanding of Windows event log analysis</li><li>
Experience with enterprise information security data management - SIEM experience a plus</li><li>
Programming and scripting skills - proficient knowledge of Powershell is a plus</li><li>
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills</li><li>
Strong documentation and communication skills</li><li>
Advanced Cyber Security certifications preferred but not required</li><li>
Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field; or relevant commensurate work experience</li><li>

Role Summary</b></div><div>
The Global Procurement Sr. Manager for Travel, Meetings &amp; Events will report to the Global Procurement Director. The position will have key responsibility for all aspects of sourcing for these categories. This includes ownership of all negotiations related to airlines, hotels, meeting facilities, corporate credit cards, travel agencies, and booking tools. In addition, the role partners with respective key stakeholders across the company to identify and prioritize needs, will understand the market to determine appropriate sources of supply, and benchmark/baseline the current state. This person is also responsible for developing the sourcing strategy for these categories. This includes, but is not limited to, managing and leading periodic supplier business reviews (i.e., EBs, QBRs, etc.), leading the competitive process (i.e., RFx, Auctions, etc.), supplier selection, commercial negotiations, deal finalization, and similar Senior Category Manager competencies. Also, they will partner with internal Shared Service organizations (i.e. Legal, Risk, Privacy, Insurance, Finance, Accounts Payable, etc.) for onboarding, contracting, etc. In addition, they will partner closely with Executive Assistants across the company to prioritize needs and establish discounts with properties and airlines that fit our travel needs. In addition, this person will manage the Travel Policies and guidelines for all Sophos users, including setting guidelines, reporting on compliance, and identifying opportunity areas for savings. The right candidate will have excellent teamwork skills and partnering ability with multiple departments and stakeholders, as well as being able to present and communicate effectively (both oral and written) with all levels of management.</div></div>

Responsible for Global Strategic Procurement for all areas of the Travel category.</li><li>
Develop close working relationships at all levels to stay aware of the strategic direction, how third parties support and add value, and with the purpose of being able to find holistic solutions that meet their needs.</li><li>
Understand and research the relevant sub-categories so you remain aware of best practices, leading suppliers, benchmark and baseline data, industry trends, etc.</li><li>
Partner with Shared Service organizations to manage onboarding, contracting and negotiations with suppliers as efficiently and effectively as possible.</li><li>
Lead some and support all organizational development through roadmap projects, special initiatives, etc.</li><li>
Lead regular business reviews with key suppliers.</li><li>
Set strategy and prioritize needs for this role and for a Travel Specialist who works with this position</li><li>
Create approval decks, savings cases, and contract summaries for obtaining internal buy-in.</li><li>
Work closely with Sophos business partners and their teams to lead all sourcing related activities to create significant value for the business.</li><li>
Drive savings/value creation and spend under management (&ldquo;SUM&rdquo;) for your areas of responsibility.</li><li>
Work cross-functionally with global and regional counterparts.</li><li>
Provide information to support monthly forecasts vs actuals, project pipeline opportunities, and projected savings.</li><li>
Partner closely with our Admin community to understand needs and preferences</li><li>
Negotiate remediations with suppliers, when necessary.</li><li>

<div><div>In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $125,000 to $209,000. In Canada, the base salary for this role ranges from $105,000 to $175,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additional compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package. A candidate&rsquo;s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.</div><div></div><div><br>
