About the Role</b></h3><p>
We&rsquo;re looking for a junior creative to support the day-to-day marketing execution for SoulFlora. This is a hands-on production role working closely with our Marketing Director on design, social content, email graphics, and in-store visuals.</p><p>
This is not a strategy or leadership role. It&rsquo;s an execution-focused position for someone who enjoys creating, staying organized, and turning work around efficiently while following clear creative direction.</p><p>
While much of the work can be done remotely, this role does require occasional in-store time for meetings, collaboration, and on-site creative needs. Because of that, we&rsquo;re looking for someone local or within reasonable commuting distance.</p><p>
This is a <b>part-time role (approximately 20&ndash;30 hours per week)</b> with the <b>potential to grow into a full-time position over time</b>, based on performance and business needs.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing</b></h3><ul><li>
Design in-store signage for promotions, events, and vendor activations</li><li>
Create graphics for social posts, stories, carousels, and reels</li><li>
Help produce AI-assisted images, motion graphics, and short video content</li><li>
Assist with short-form video editing for social media</li><li>
Build promotional email graphics and layouts</li><li>
Support e-commerce with homepage banners and sales visuals</li><li>
Resize and format assets for screens, menus, print, and web</li><li>
Execute campaigns across digital, print, and in-store channels</li><li>
Occasionally support on-site needs such as signage setup, content capture, or creative reviews</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For</b></h3><ul><li>
Solid graphic design skills for both print and digital</li><li>
Comfortable using Canva, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator</li><li>
Hands-on experience with AI creative tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Gemini, Flow, or similar)</li><li>
Basic understanding of Instagram formats and social content best practices</li><li>
Strong attention to detail, layout, and brand consistency</li><li>
Organized, reliable, and able to work efficiently within a part-time schedule</li><li>
Clear written communication and ability to follow creative direction</li><li>
Ability to occasionally work on-site in West Milford, NJ</li><li><b>
Must be 21+ and able to pass a state background check in accordance with NJ CRC requirements</b></li><li>
Willingness to share examples of creative or design work during the interview process</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Nice to Have (Not Required)</b></h3><ul><li>
Short-form video editing or motion graphics experience (CapCut, Premiere, After Effects)</li><li>
Email marketing design experience (Klaviyo, Alpine IQ)</li><li>
Website or e-commerce design experience (Shopify, WordPress, Squarespace)</li><li>
Photography, videography, or event content experience</li><li>
Interest in retail marketing or the cannabis industry</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Core availability is <b>Monday&ndash;Friday during U.S. business hours</b></li><li>
Daily communication happens via <b>Slack</b></li><li>
You&rsquo;ll work directly with our Marketing Director and support an active retail operation</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
