Overview We are seekin g a detail oreinted and experienced Accountant / Full Charge Bookkeeper to play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting our organization&rsquo;s financial health. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of accounting functions, from general ledger management to payroll processing, in a fast-paced environment that values precision, integrity, and continuous improvement. As an integral part of our team, you will leverage your expertise in financial concepts and accounting software to deliver high-quality results that drive informed decision-making.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage and perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures</li><li>Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and applicable regulatory standards</li><li>Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies</li><li>Utilize QuickBooks accounting software for payroll and general accounting operations</li><li>Perform data entry tasks with precision using 10 key typing skills and double-entry bookkeeping methods</li><li>Contribute to process improvements by implementing best practices in technical accounting and governmental accounting standards</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in corporate or governmental accounting environments with a strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles</li><li>Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software or a similar platform.</li><li>Knowledge of GAAP regulations and SOX compliance is preferred.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and balance sheet reconciliation accurately</li><li>Excellent math skills combined with attention to detail for data entry and journal entries</li><li>Experience in public accounting or financial services is a plus but not required</li><li>Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders</li></ul>Join us as an Accountant where your expertise will help shape our organization&rsquo;s financial integrity.
