<div><p>Position Summary</p><p>
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for providing trusted leadership and oversight of all human resources functions. This position ensures the effective management of recruitment, employee relations, compliance, compensation, training, and organizational development. The Director partners with senior leadership to align human resources strategies with organizational objectives and foster a professional, engaged, and compliant workplace culture. The Director of Human Resources reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer.</p><p>
Essential Functions</p><p>

Oversee Human Resource operations, including HR systems, reporting, and process improvements.</li><li>
Provide strategic direction for HR initiatives in support of organizational goals.</li><li>
Facilitate effective organizational communication and responsive customer service in order to connect employees to benefits, services and plans.</li><li>
Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention programs to ensure a strong workforce pipeline.</li><li>
Promote employee engagement and oversee employee relations matters.</li><li>
Manage compensation, benefits, and ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.</li><li>
Develop and implement HR policies, training programs, and leadership development initiatives.</li></ul><p>
Qualifications</p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master&rsquo;s degree preferred).</li><li>
Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR. SPHR, or CHHR strongly preferred.</li><li>
A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience (hospital and or healthcare preferred), including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.</li><li>
Experience in supervising and developing staff</li><li>
Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices, federal and state employment laws, and compliance requirements.</li><li>
Proficiency in HR and business information systems, ability to analyze data, produce HR and financial reports, and present data to staff and leadership</li><li>
Expertise in project management, critical decision making, and process improvement</li><li>
Must demonstrate outstanding judgment, exercise high level of discretion, and exhibit sensitivity and empathy to others</li><li>
Proven ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and lead organizational change initiatives.</li></ul><p>
Physical Requirements</p><ul><li>
The position will require sitting and standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, fine motor skills using hands, fingers with dexterity for typing and other office tasks</li><li>
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds</li><li>
Must be able to speak in small and large group settings</li><li>
This position could be exposed to moderate noise levels, frequent phone conversations, and requires average to above average hearing and visual acuity</li><li>
Most of the duties performed in this position will be performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment</li><li>
Must be able to travel to other locations as needed</li></ul><p>

Buyer Job Description<br>
<ul><li>Become proficient with our Materials Supply Chain System Premier</li><li>Approve Requisitions from requesting departments for supplies</li><li>Place Purchase Orders generated from these requisitions in a timely manner through our Supply Chain System Premier to supply each department in our facility</li><li>Work through PO and Requisition Back Order Reports to ensure all supplies are delivered in a timely manner</li><li>Maintain our supply chain system Premier so that it is up to date with supply info and price changes</li><li>Work closely with Suppliers and Central Supply on product conversions that occur</li><li>Work with Central Supply and other departments on supply stocking levels</li><li>Work with requesting departments on maintaining their order guides and par carts to order supplies</li><li>Work with requesting departments on any supply needs that they have, answering questions and providing price quotes and eta dates on orders</li><li>Work closely with Accounting to reconcile any invoice/pricing issues</li><li>Place Capital Equipment Purchase Orders</li><li>Maintain excellent working relationships with our suppliers and continue to manage them</li><li>Have a working knowledge of our Recall Alert System. Report any recalls to our Recall Alert Specialist and assist if needed to close out the recall ensuring that all recalled product has been removed from our facility</li><li>Ensure all PO&rsquo;s placed are legal through State Purchasing Laws of Mississippi by products being purchased either on a GPO or State contract if at all possible. If purchases are not on a GPO or State contract they will need to go through the proper quote/bid process if up to a certain dollar amount and board approval if necessary.</li><li>Display a mature and professional attitude and work in team environment</li><li>Participate in Annual Inventory for the Hospital and Off-site Departments</li><li>Assist in other areas of the Materials Department as needed</li><li>Update pricing in system based on contract pricing to ensure PO pricing is correct</li><li>Work Price Exceptions so payments to vendors can be made in a timely manner by the AP Department</li><li>Under the direction of the Director of Materials participate in working special projects and cost saving initiatives</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul></div></div></div>
