Social Media Content Creator + Manager (Part-Time, Chicago-Based) South Loop LoftSouth Loop Loft is seeking a hands-on Social Media Content Creator + Manager to grow our brand presence across Instagram and Pinterest. This role is about more than scheduling posts &mdash; it&rsquo;s about building authentic connections with our design-forward audience and telling the story of our showroom, inventory, restoration, and events.We&rsquo;re looking for someone who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment, has a proven track record managing social media, and wants to be part of a small, collaborative team.This is a part-time, Chicago-based role (no agencies, no full-time supplement work). You&rsquo;ll be embedded with our team &mdash; spending time in our showroom and warehouse &mdash; to capture real, authentic content.This is approximately 10-15 hours per week. Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and execute a social media strategy that increases awareness, engagement, and sales.</li><li>Manage Instagram and Pinterest, ensuring consistent, on-brand messaging.</li><li>Create compelling content (photos, Reels, videos, graphics, copy) that highlights our products, restoration process, and brand story.</li><li>Maintain posting schedules (Instagram feed, Reels, Stories, Pinterest pins) with advance planning.</li><li>Engage actively with followers, clients, and target designers through comments, DMs, and community interaction.</li><li>Collaborate with Ecommerce, Sales, and Inventory teams to align marketing with inventory and business goals.</li><li>Track and analyze KPIs; provide actionable insights and recommendations.</li><li>Stay current with social platform changes, algorithm updates, and trends to optimize strategies.</li><li>Lead resolution of any urgent issues (account access, security breaches, etc.).</li></ul>Deliverables1. Instagram<ul><li>Monthly: Build content calendar; plan grid; draft captions for approval; 1 marketing meeting with the owner</li><li>Weekly: 7 feed posts, 1&ndash;2 Reels, 3&ndash;4 Stories; coordinate with Ecommerce for new inventory; manage engagement; target-client outreach.</li><li>Ongoing: Manage Link in Bio; create content for ad campaigns; collaborate with Owner + team on storytelling.</li></ul>2. Pinterest<ul><li>Weekly: Schedule 15&ndash;25 pins/day using Tailwind; mix of product, lifestyle, and curated content.</li><li>Monthly: Trend research; optimize boards with SEO guidance; influencer outreach.</li></ul>3. Special Events<ul><li>Annually: Content creation for Warehouse Sale and 3&ndash;5 other key events.</li></ul>4. Content Creation<ul><li>Ongoing: Capture authentic showroom/warehouse footage; highlight restoration, artists, and sales team stories; direct team on B-roll collection.</li><li>Collaborate and work closely with our AD strategists for Meta + Google Ads</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience managing Instagram + Pinterest (required)</li><li>This position will begin managing our instagram account after 2 days of onboarding</li><li>Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.</li><li>Proficiency in graphic design + video editing tools (required).</li><li>Excellent writing and communication skills.</li><li>Analytical mindset with reporting experience.</li><li>Strong organizational skills; ability to work independently.</li><li>Must be based in Chicago and available for regular showroom/warehouse content creation.</li><li>Part-time only.
