Financial Planning and Analysis, Senior Financial Analyst
 POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Financial Planning and Analysis, Senior Financial Analyst, you will report to the VP of FP&amp;A of Surf Air Mobility. The position will be based in the Airline Operations headquarters in Addison, TX.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Financial Planning and Analysis, Senior Financial Analyst
DEPARTMENT: Finance
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
This role offers a hybrid work model, with a core requirement of three days a week on-site in our Addison office and the flexibility to work remotely on the other two days, with the option to work in-person on an as-needed basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Partnering with Business unit leaders to make better decisions</li><li>
Analyze actual results and understand key drivers of variances to plan and forecast, while identifying areas of improvement</li><li>
Improve existing or create new models for greater visibility and scenario optionality</li><li>
Develop and present forecast to key business unit leaders and executive management</li><li>
Drive and support efficiency initiatives</li><li>
Lead, support, and develop ad-hoc analyses</li><li>
Support divisional units through the budget process as well as overall process</li><li>
Support and develop business cases for capital purchases</li><li>
Track key KPI metrics and identify areas of improvement</li><li>
Support and develop financial policies and templates</li><li>
Review accrual transactions for data accuracy</li><li>
Support other Corporate related financial efforts as needed</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul>
POSITION REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>
Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role</li><li>
3+ years of experience as a FP&amp;A Analyst or similar role, or 2+ years as a Sr. FP&amp;A Analyst</li><li>
Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software</li><li>
Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)</li><li>
Familiarity with finance databases</li><li>
Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP)</li><li>
Excellent analytical skills</li><li>
Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts</li><li>
Demonstrable strategic thinking skills</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across business units to achieve results and create organizational alignment</li><li>
Strong business understanding, allowing you to help develop and quantify strategies and tactics that drive incremental growth and optimize costs</li><li>
Self-motivated, deliverable-focused, strong work ethic, enthusiastic and ambitious attitude, able to prioritize and resolve an array of issues simultaneously</li></ul>
EDUCATION:<ul><li>
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business required</li></ul>
MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>
Authorized to work in the United States</li></ul>
