This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners&rsquo; lives while advancing your teaching career.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and special education.</li><li>Create a dynamic classroom environment that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and creativity.</li><li>Use diverse teaching strategies and learning technologies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.</li><li>Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing and informal assessments.</li><li>Provide individualized support and tutoring to students requiring additional assistance or enrichment.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and safe learning space.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and school-wide initiatives such as early intervention programs or Montessori methods.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral incidents in compliance with school policies.</li><li>Engage with parents and guardians through conferences and communication channels to discuss student progress and address concerns.</li><li>Support children with diverse needs by working closely with special education teams or specialists trained in working with children with autism or other developmental challenges.</li><li>Incorporate library services and literacy resources into daily instruction to promote reading fluency and comprehension skills.</li><li>Contribute to school activities such as extracurricular programs, community events, or professional development workshops aimed at enhancing educational quality.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications or specialized training (e.g., Montessori certification) is preferred.</li><li>Valid state teaching permit, license, or certification appropriate for the grade level(s) you wish to teach.</li><li>Proven classroom experience working with children across early childhood or elementary levels.</li><li>Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.</li><li>Experience developing curricula that incorporate learning technology tools for interactive lessons.</li><li>Demonstrated ability in classroom management, behavior management techniques, and creating inclusive learning environments.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.</li><li>Skills in proofreading, writing, lesson planning, and curriculum development to ensure high-quality instructional materials.</li><li>Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment data analysis to inform instruction.</li><li>Experience working with children with special needs or those requiring additional support is highly desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of library services integration into classroom activities is a plus.
