Job Summary:
ICC Healthcare (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking an acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. 
 
Qualified Candidates:<ul><li>
Acute care NP certification or PA License</li><li>
ICU provider experience preferred, not required</li><li>
Mix of Days and Nights</li><li>
12-hour shifts covering a medical/surgical ICU</li><li>
1 MD and 1 APP (7am to 7pm);1 APP with MD on call for support (7 pm to 7 am)</li><li>
Ability to work Full Time, 13-15 shifts per month</li><li>
Ability to work autonomously at night with MD on call</li><li>
Opportunity to also cover at sister facility, Mtn View, if needed</li><li>
APP providers gain proficiency with, and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, Chest tubes, bronchs, intubations, and management of mechanical ventilation</li></ul>

Your responsibilities will include:
<ul><li>Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements</li><li>
Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures</li><li>
Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment</li><li>
Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care</li><li>
Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient</li></ul>
What qualifications you will need:<ul><li>
High School Graduate / GED</li><li>
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required</li><li>
RT with VI or CI credential preferred</li><li>
BLS and ACLS certification</li><li>
Minimum two (2) years in a health care setting preferred</li><li>
Minimum one (1) year Cardiac Cath Lab/IR experience required
