About the Position:

This role is an on-campus, in-person position.

The Assistant Director of Creative Video serves as the primary video creator for SMU Football, leading the development of both short- and long-form video content that supports the program&rsquo;s recruiting, social media, and marketing goals.

This role involves planning, shooting, editing, and producing dynamic video content across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring creativity, initiative, and a strong work ethic to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 

Essential Functions:
<ul><li>Plan, film, and edit a wide range of video content including highlights, behind-the-scenes features, and recruiting content. 
</li>
<li>Produce video content for use on social media, marketing platforms, recruiting campaigns, and team messaging. 
</li>
<li>Collaborate with coaches and staff to develop creative storytelling concepts that elevate the program&rsquo;s brand. 
</li>
<li>Maintain organization of video libraries, archives, and digital assets. 
</li>
<li>Operate and manage Sony camera equipment and ensure high production quality. 
</li>
<li>Use Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects) to create professional video edits. 
</li>
<li>Assist with creative direction on graphics and visual content as needed. 
</li>
<li>Support photography and other multimedia content efforts as needed. 
</li>
<li>Position requires frequent evenings/weekends required for games and events</li>
<li>Position requires occasional travel for away games, recruiting shoots, or production needs</li>

Qualifications<div></div> 
Education and Experience:
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree is required. Degree in Film, Communications, Media Production, or related field 
A minimum of three years of work experience creating video content is required.
Experience creating video content for a Division I football program, preferred. Demonstrated experience producing diverse video projects, desired.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Strong written communication skills and a strong customer service orientation are preferred.
Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills. The ability to work under tight deadlines, and willingness to take initiative and work independently are essential.
Candidate must have strong creative and technical video production skills. Strong project management skills and a focus on attention to detail are essential.
A strong working knowledge of Adobe CC (Premiere Pro, After Effects), preferred Experience operating Sony camera systems (FX6, FX3, a1, a7siii, etc.), desired. Certifications in Adobe or other creative software are a plus.
Photography and graphic design experience and familiarity with Blender or other 3D content tools, preferred. Experience with video editing platforms, file transfer and cloud storage systems, desired. Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.

About the Position:

The focus for the position of assistant athletic trainer is to promote and protect the health and well-being for intercollegiate student-athletes.
The function of an athletic trainer is to provide services that address the education, prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
The assistant athletic trainer will have duties and responsibilities that support and provide care to all Division-1 varsity student-athletes with an emphasis on women's cross country and with track/field. Additional sport / administrative duties may be assigned by the Assoc. A.D. of Student Health and Well-being.
The role of the assistant athletic trainer will play a vital role in supporting the mission and values of the Athletic Department University. While working within the scope of state and national regulations and guidelines, the athletic trainer will also provide significant contributions towards safety and risk management.

Essential Functions:

<li>Education, prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries
</li>
<li>Traveling with respective teams to provide care and support while on the road for competition.
</li>
<li>Medical record keeping, documentation and injury tracking. 
</li>
<li>Various administrative duties to support the operations of the sports medicine program.
</li>
<li>The position will require working evenings and weekends work to provide coverage for competitions and practices. The athletics schedule is ever changing and as a result candidate must be able to adapt to schedule demands.

<li>The position will require ravel travel with assigned sport to provide coverage for competition. May also need to travel to attend continuing education events.</li>

Qualifications<div></div> 
Education and Experience:
Master&rsquo;s degree is required. Degree in athletic training, sports medicine or a related field is preferred.
A minimum of one year of work experience is required. Division I experience is desirable.
Previous experience with women's cross country and track and field teams desired.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in writing, especially through e-mail. A strong customer service orientation is essential. 
 
Candidate must possess strong organizational, planning and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. A strong focus on attention to detail is essential. 
 
Candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze problems and devise solutions. 
 
Candidate must possess basic skills of Microsoft Office programs i.e. Word and Excel. Must also have the ability to learn and utilize injury documentation and tracking software. 
NATA-BOC certification required. Texas license - Athletic Trainer required or eligble. 
First Aid, CPR, and AED Certified required. 
Additional Certifications preferred: EMT, Dry Needling, CES, PES, BFR, Graston Technique.

SMU Libraries seeks a collaborative and forward-thinking AI &amp; Digital Research Librarian to lead and expand support for artificial intelligence-enabled research and digital scholarship initiatives. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in partnership with faculty, students, and campus colleagues and thrives in the iterative nature of the research process, where exploration, experimentation, and refinement are essential to discovery.
This position is situated within the Research &amp; Digital Strategy unit of SMU Libraries, which brings together the Norwick Center for Digital Solutions (nCDS) and the Research &amp; Scholarly Initiatives (RSI) team to support AI-enabled and digitally driven research. The unit collaborates with faculty, students, and staff on artificial intelligence and machine learning, research data management, open access publishing, scholarly repositories, and digital scholarship, while connecting researchers with SMU Libraries&rsquo; distinctive special collections through digitization and digital preservation to advance innovative, technology-informed research.
Building on the success of SMU Libraries&rsquo; 2025-2026 AI for Research cohorts of faculty and graduate students, this position will support new and ongoing projects that incorporate AI to advance innovative solutions in research and teaching. Working in partnership with faculty, students, librarians, and Office of Information Technology (OIT) staff, the librarian will support prompt engineering, prototype research workflows, and advise on AI-enabled research environments. This role will further solidify the Libraries&rsquo; position as a trusted research partner while ensuring alignment with SMU&rsquo;s new strategic framework that will launch in fall 2026.

Deliver research and data services to support faculty and graduate research. Partner with faculty on data discovery, licensed resource use, and responsible research practices. Collaborate with the Associate Dean for Research and Digital Strategy to support faculty research.</li><li>
Lead strategic selection, licensing, and assessment of business information resources. Manage vendor relationships and coordinate contract negotiation through payment of invoices to ensure timely access and cost-efficient use of funds. Balance access to high-cost proprietary resources with sustainable, mission-aligned investment strategies.</li><li>
Build partnerships with campus units, such as career services, the entrepreneurship ecosystem, and the Center for Teaching Excellence and other research centers. Contribute as appropriate to Cox initiatives, donor relations, advisory boards, and community initiatives. Communicate the value of business library services and expertise through assessment and outreach.</li><li>
Participate in professional organizations and contribute expertise through presentations, publications, and other professional venues.</li></ul><div>

Qualifications<div></div> 
Education and Experience:
Required Qualifications:<ul><li>
A master&rsquo;s degree in Library or Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution or equivalent.</li><li>
7 or more years of progressively responsible experience in academic or research libraries with substantial experience supporting business disciplines.</li><li>
5 or more years of supervisory experience leading or managing library, research, or information services in an academic, corporate, or professional setting.</li><li>
Experience in a college or university library providing instructional and research services.</li><li>
Strong communication skills.</li><li>
Knowledge of business information resources and data tools.</li><li>
Experience using AI tools applied to research and data services.</li><li>
Record of professional contributions commensurate with role.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
Advanced degree in business or related field.</li><li>
Experience designing effective instructional programs that accommodate a variety of learning styles.</li><li>
Demonstrated success in faculty-driven program design and engagement.</li><li>
Ability to plan, implement, and assess work responsibilities.</li><li>
Strong outreach, leadership, and negotiation skills.</li><li>
Knowledge of trends in AI and impact on higher education, teaching, and business education.</li></ul>
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate strong written communication skills.
Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
