<div>Description:

PURPOSE: We are looking for a detail-oriented truck dispatcher to dispatch our drivers to customer locations. In this role, your duties will include communicating with our customers as well as drivers and drivers&rsquo; supervisors.
In this position you will be responsible for working with your direct supervisor and managing all dispatching facets of trucking/hauling divisions. This position is new to SOS and will evolve over time.
Job Responsibilities<ul><li>
Answering radio communication with drivers on routing questions/account questions</li><li>
Working with front office/DB Specialist on incoming/outgoing communication with drivers</li><li>
Dispatching work orders night before: Routes Drivers/Delivery Drivers</li><li>
Confirming work orders routed to correct driver/day</li><li>
Sending route package night before: confirming sending correct week to MobilePak</li><li>
Working closely with driver supervisors to updating route costing</li><li>
Completing note batch entries each morning</li><li>
Updating any route issues from note batch and sending note batch to office for any customer follow up needed.</li><li>
Completing Drivers log daily</li><li>
Transferring of serial numbers from accounts and internal depots</li><li>
Scrapping serial numbers</li><li>
Confirming work order being charged correctly</li><li>
Confirming work order are productive. If issues with how CSR&rsquo;s are entering W/O, then reach out to front office manager for assistance</li></ul>
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications and Experience<ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED</li><li>
At least 1 year Customer Service based experience</li><li>
Experience with Transportation management software</li><li>
Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook</li><li>
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.</li></ul>
