Description of Position 
The Shift Leader works as part of our restaurant teams to ensure we provide exceptional service and delicious food in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The Shift Leader may work a variety of team member positions throughout the restaurant and will oversee the running of full and partial shifts including opening and closing the restaurant, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring food quality and sanitation standards are followed. 
Key Duties and Responsibilities 
<ul><li>
Leading, monitoring, coaching and training team members to ensure operational execution.</li><li>
Adheres to scheduled and projected labor metrics while monitoring sales throughout the shift.</li><li>
Ensures all assigned cleaning duties and tasks are completed thoroughly and with integrity.</li><li>
Proficient in all restaurant positions and work hands-on with team members in each of these areas.</li><li>
Works as part of a team to provide an exceptional Guest experience to our patrons.</li><li>
Ensure Guest satisfaction by following the Six Service Standards and PLUS 1 as needed.</li><li>
Performs opening and closing managerial duties including readiness checklists and cash handling duties.</li><li>
Handles Guest issues or conflicts and reports them to the General Manager immediately.</li><li>
Places, checks in, and stores food and orders.</li><li>
Completes daily temperature line checks to ensure food safety practices are adhered to.</li><li>
Help maintain a safe, clean, and fun work environment.</li><li>
Communicate effectively to the management team regarding essential information impacting the business.</li><li>
Report any team member issues or concerns to the General Manager.</li></ul>

Other Requirements 
<ul><li>
Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours consecutively.</li><li>
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Some lifting may be overhead.</li><li>
Must have reliable transportation.</li></ul> 
Compensation and Benefits 
<ul><li>
Full-time team members are eligible for medical, 401k, and vacation pay after one year.</li><li>
Hourly compensation plus tips.</li><li>

Shift Leader

<div>Our Back of House positions may include a few different areas. These include: 
The Dishwasher duties include: Ensures the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware; Prepares dish area and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking; Unloads and stores deliveries as needed; Sweeps and mops floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled; Takes out the trash and rinses garbage cans; Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies; Other duties as requested by manager. 
The Line Cook duties include: Maintains food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils; Manages sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas; Reads food orders and/or receives verbal instructions required and prepares orders quickly and accurately; Cleans and restocks station at the beginning and end of each shift, preps additional items as necessary; Ensures prepared food meets quality and quantity requirements; Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies; other duties as requested by management. 
The Prep Cook duties include: Prepares foods for cooking based on prep lists and manager directions; Prepares food of consistent quality with recipe cards and production and portion standards; Cleans and sanitizes station at beginning and end of shift which may include light dishwashing; Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies; other duties as requested by management.
