<div>Position Summary
A Superintendent (E9) is the primary jobsite supervisor with operational responsibility for employees involved in the installation, alteration, addition, and/or repair of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment on small- to mid-sized ground up projects or tenant-finish projects where complex coordination of multiple subordinate supervisors and crews is required.

Position Details
<ul>
<li>Oversee and manage all electrical production and related craft workers on electrical construction projects.</li>
<li>Partner with project managers on working estimates and take-offs.</li>
<li>Lay out work for subordinate supervisors and lead persons. Coordinate with project manager so that material, tools, equipment, information and appropriate manpower are in the proper place in a timely fashion.</li>
<li>Establish work schedules and man-loading charts.</li>
<li>Interface with representatives of the General Contractor/Owner on day-to-day project scheduling and overall performance issues.</li>
<li>Provide general supervision to subordinate foremen engaged in the installation of electrical feeders; equipment such as pumps, motors, and generators; control and distribution apparatus such as switch gears, relays, and circuit breaker panels; lighting fixtures and outlets; and related connections and terminations.</li>
<li>Monitor work as performed. Direct subordinate supervisors and crews and schedule work according to the pace of the job and other trades.</li>
<li>Handle or oversee the disposition of required office correspondence and administrative paperwork such as daily reports, time sheets/tickets, safety reports, etc.</li>
<li>Assume responsibility for overall project safety performance. Ensure compliance with all Southland safety processes and protocols. Ensure employees are properly trained or instructed in the performance of duties to which assigned. Investigate or assist in investigating and reporting any accident or safety incident involving jobsite employees.</li>
<li>Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Must have advanced knowledge of and experience in all the duties and responsibilities associated with lower-level electrical workers.
<ul><li>Licenses: Journeyman or Master Electrical License and a current Driver&rsquo;s License; must have own reliable transportation</li>
<li>Education: High school graduate, GED or equivalent</li>
<li>Experience: 6 years or more of commercial/industrial electrical experience</li>

Electrical Superintendent

<div>Position Summary
Responsible for ensuring product quality specifications and processes are in compliance with regulatory, company and customer standards and requirements.

Position Details
<ul>
<li>Review shop fabrications for drawing conformance, verifies installation of products and materials and confirms that procedures are being followed and are code compliant.
</li><li>Perform visual inspections of stainless-steel piping, welds, and components during fabrication and installation
</li><li>Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and codes including ASME B31.3
</li><li>Inspect weld fit-up, joint preparation, purge setup, and completed welds (TIG/GTAW preferred)
</li><li>Monitor welding activities to ensure adherence to approved WPS/PQR per ASME Section IX
</li><li>Conduct or witness NDE examinations such as VT, PT, and coordinate RT/UT as require.
</li><li>Verify material traceability, MTRs, heat numbers, and proper storage/handling of stainless material
</li><li>Identify and document non-conformances and support corrective actions</li>
<li>Maintain inspection reports and weld logs</li>
<li>Coordinate with fabrication, welding, and project management team</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>High school degree or equivalent.
</li><li>Level II certification in Visual Testing (VT) required (per ASNT or equivalent)
</li><li>Additional certifications (PT, UT, or RT) strongly preferred
</li><li>2+ years of inspection experience in piping fabrication or industrial construction
</li><li>Strong knowledge of stainless-steel welding practices (GTAW/TIG with purge)
</li><li>Familiarity with sanitary or high-purity systems is a plus
</li><li>List no more than six (6) essential KSAs, including system-relevant technical skills.
</li><li>Codes &amp; Standards: ASME B31.3, ASME Section IX
</li><li>Understanding of: Weld defects and acceptance criteria, Orbital and manual TIG welding, Passivation and corrosion control, Isometric drawings and P&amp;IDs
</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations as well as safety policies and procedures
</li><li>Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols
</li><li>Good communication skills to work with welders, supervisors, and clients
