If you need any adjustments during the recruitment process or in the workplace, just let us know &ndash; we will do our best to support you.About the Role<ul><li>Working alongside our internal teams and external partners, our Climate &amp; Energy Action Coordinator will grow and maintain our climate and energy projects and be a key advocate for climate work both internally and externally.</li><li>A vital element of the role is to be able to engage and help to empower our residents to take action to support our climate, nature, and energy usage. This will consist of a series of questions, a short presentation on your vision for the role, and an admin task.</li><li>Deadline: 9am, Monday 6th July</li><li>Contact: To arrange a chat or visit our site in person, contact Polly Theedom, tel: 0117 950 3335 or email: pollytheedom@southmead.org</li></ul>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>To oversee, quality assure, and develop our energy saving projects and partnerships</li><li>To champion and coordinate delivery of Southmead&rsquo;s Community Climate Action Plan (CCAP), working with colleagues and partners to engage residents, develop and support projects, secure funding, and ensure the plan influences the Trust&rsquo;s work and future development to develop and maintain effective relationships with Trust teams and with existing partners, and to grow relationships with new stakeholders</li><li>To take an approach to climate, energy, and nature action which is informed by Bristol&rsquo;s Just Transition Declaration principles.</li><li>To work closely with our Community Development and Wellbeing Teams to deliver climate, energy and nature work.</li><li>To work closely with the Communications team to produce related, and regular, online and written communications both for community and professional audiences.</li><li>To support team managers, senior leaders, and trustees, to embed environmental sustainability in our operations, services, and projects; to provide advice, support and mentoring where appropriate.</li><li>To develop programme resources and tools working with programme leads, and to signpost to resources where available.</li><li>To be an active member of local and national climate networks to identify and share best practice and emerging business development opportunities.
