Southwest Dispatch Center is hiring Alarm Dispatchers with pleasant phone voices and a proven track record of excellent communication skills to join our team in our 24/7 monitoring department in Spring, TX.Responsibilities and Duties:<ul><li>Provide top-tier customer service</li><li>Make outbound calls</li><li>Memorize phone scripts</li><li>Respond to emergency alarms</li><li>Live video monitoring</li><li>Emergency phone monitoring</li><li>Monitoring Residential and commercial properties</li><li>Documentation skills</li><li>Dispatch proper authorities (PD/FD/EMS)</li><li>Sitting for long periods</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.</li></ul>Qualifications and skills:<ul><li>Clear, articulate, and professional telephone voice and etiquette</li><li>Excellent attendance required</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Dependable and punctual</li><li>Comfortable in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Experienced in High-call volume environments</li><li>Ability to learn in a fast-paced training environment.</li><li>Ability to multitask</li><li>Flexible availability, willing to work weekends</li><li>Focused on professional growth</li></ul>Requirement for this role:<ul><li>The ability to work holidays, weekends, and mandatory overtime - we're 24 x 7!</li><li>High School Degree or equivalent</li><li>Ability to type a minimum of 20WPM with 80% accuracy (will be tested)</li><li>Clean criminal background &ndash; No Felonies</li><li>Pass pre-employment drug screening</li><li>Available Shifts: 5am-1pm, 1pm-9pm and 9pm-5am</li></ul>This position requires the ability to work weekends, overtime, and, if necessary, fill in on other assigned shifts.**Application will be made during training for a Texas Department of Private Security Alarm Monitoring License as a requirement for continued employment and will include an FBI background check and fingerprinting; therefore, applicants with criminal backgrounds need not apply.*We invite qualified candidates who are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and security to apply.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $15.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>call center: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Spring, TX 77386 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
