<div>Southwest Solutions Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our team. As an Installer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining a wide range of equipment and machinery for our customers. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-oriented mindset. This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We are seeking someone who is energetic, positive, and self-motivated. Being an Installer at Southwest Solutions Group is a new adventure every day. Examples of projects you could be working on include:<ul><li> 
Installing lockers at law enforcement and professional sports facilities</li><li>
Installing bed lifts at hospitals</li><li>
Installing compact book stack shelving at libraries</li><li>
Installing military ammunition storage at military bases</li><li>
Installing cabinets and casework for laboratories</li><li>
Installing industrial parts storage automation at aircraft manufacturing facilities</li></ul>

Employment Type: Full Time
Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Travel to and from job sites in a company-provided pickup truck or cargo van</li><li>
Inspect materials for damage, shortages, quality problems, etc. prior to installation start</li><li>
Load and unload materials at the job site</li><li>
Install, configure, and set up various types of equipment according to client specifications and technical requirements</li><li>
Perform onsite installations and ensure equipment is properly connected, calibrated, and operational.</li><li>
Conduct thorough system testing to verify equipment functionality, identify any issues, and ensure proper performance</li><li>
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing technical knowledge and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve problems</li><li>
Maintain a clean installation job site by removing trash and debris daily</li><li>
Work cohesively with a team of technicians to install products and complete projects on schedule</li><li>
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements, timelines and deliverables</li><li>
Process expenses monthly through company portal</li><li>
Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and vehicle maintenance through established vendors and processes</li><li>

Requirements/Qualifications:<ul><li>
2-4 years of relevant experience in general trade as an installation technician or general labor.</li><li>
High School diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.</li><li>
Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and pass a Department of Motor Vehicle Check</li><li>
Must pass a background check and drug test due to the secure sites we work on</li><li>
Flexibility to travel up to 10- 20% for out-of-town projects</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions and specifications</li><li>
Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, band saws, circular saw etc.</li><li>
Proven ability to maintain a professional image</li><li>
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues</li><li>
Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Outlook</li><li>
Certifications such as OSHA, forklift, scissor lift, CPR/First Aid are a plus.</li></ul>
Job Skills<ul><li>
Electrical Schematics:<ul><li>
Ability to read electrical schematics accurately and efficiently.</li></ul></li><li>
Power Circuits:<ul><li>
Experience working with power circuits up to 480 VAC, 3-phase systems.</li></ul></li><li>
DC Control Circuits:<ul><li>
Proficiency with DC control circuits with voltages up to 24 VDC.</li><li>
Familiarity with using a multimeter</li></ul></li><li>
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs):<ul><li>
Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley (AB) and Siemens PLCs, including programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.</li></ul></li><li>
Variable Frequency Drives:<ul><li>
Familiarity with variable frequency drives, including setup, configuration, and diagnostics.</li></ul></li><li>
Metric system:<ul><li>
Using metric tools, including tape measures, sockets, wrenches</li></ul></li><li>
Leveling:<ul><li>
The ability to square, plumb, and level various types of equipment.</li></ul></li><li>
Computer skills:<ul><li>
Ability to obtain and change IP addresses.</li><li>
Ability to ping IP addresses in local area connections.</li></ul></li><li>
Fabrication:<ul><li>
Ability to modify and manufacture wood components</li><li>
Ability to cut, grind, and weld metal components</li></ul></li><li>
Technology:<ul><li>
Ability to navigate CRMs and effectively capture important data</li></ul></li></ul></div>
