<div>The Learning and Development Associate role is responsible for the collation, organization, and management of learning and development materials. This role ensures that STA employees are prepared with the skills and competencies necessary to fulfill the lifesaving mission of donation. The associate will support all staff in training experiences and will impact the success of the team while fostering a supportive and enriching continuous learning environment.</div><br>

<div><b>Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:</b></div>
<div></div>
<ul><li>Organizes, maintains, and updates training documentation, learning management systems, and regulatory education records.</li>
<li>Supports the coordination of internal and external learning sessions, workshops, and development programs.</li>
<li>Leads the procurement and organization of training materials, supplies, and resources for educational programs and simulation labs.</li>
<li>Assists in the creation and maintenance of educational content, ensuring alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.</li>
<li>Monitors completion of mandatory training assignments such as corporate compliance, OSHA, and safety programs.</li>
<li>Provides administrative and logistical support for the Learning and Development department.</li>
<li>Acts as a point of contact for employee learning inquiries and assists staff in navigating learning platforms and opportunities.</li>
<li>Maintains accurate tracking of professional development and continuing education credits for applicable staff.</li>
<li>Collaborates with HR and departmental leaders to ensure onboarding and new hire orientation materials are current and effectively delivered.</li>
<li>Develops and implements evaluation tools to measure training effectiveness, including feedback surveys and learning assessments.</li>
<li>Assists in the design and rollout of leadership development and mentorship programs in coordination with People Services and department leaders.</li>
<li>Supports accreditation or audit preparation by ensuring all learning documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned that are consistent with the purpose of the role.</li></ul><br>

<div></div><div><b>Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>Associate degree required; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li>
<li>At least 2 years of experience directly related to learning and development, training coordination, or organizational development.</li>
<li>A combination of alternative education and experience may be considered in lieu of the formal education requirements.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.</li>
<li>Ability to effectively interpret needs and act as an advocate for learning and development</li>
<li>Current Driver&rsquo;s License is required and maintained with an acceptable driving record as defined by STA policy.</li></ul><br>

<div><b>Compliance:</b></div>
<ul><li>This position is classified as OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Category III.</li>
<li>Employees in this role are not routinely expected to perform tasks that involve contact with blood, bodily fluids, or other potentially infectious materials.</li>
<li>While exposure risk is minimal, employees are expected to follow organizational safety policies and report any potential exposure incidents immediately.</li>
