A Med-Tech is an employee certified to administer medications who provides individualized care and services to the residents of the. Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>
Medication administration</li><li>
Provides personal care and services per each client&rsquo;s individualized Plan of Care to assist in improvement and/or maintenance of the clients&rsquo; physical and mental status.</li><li>
Assists with all ADL activities.</li><li>
Assists with mobility and instructs clients as to the proper use of mobility aids.</li><li>
Fully participates in the service planning process, reviewing of daily notes.</li><li>
Responsible for observing any changes in clients&rsquo; status and reports them immediately to the supervisor.</li><li>
Adheres to facility safety standards and infection control manual and reports all potential resident/employee safety hazards to the Inn Administrator.</li><li>
Launders clients&rsquo; personal laundry when needed and ensures the safety of the clients&rsquo; personal possessions.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned within the scope of position expectations.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications</h2><ul><li>
High School diploma or equivalent is required</li><li>
Med-tech Certification, required</li><li>
A minimum of one year working with the elderly is highly desirable</li><li>
Demonstrates ability to work with other people through a cooperative effort</li><li>
Position requires frequently lifting 25-50 lbs. Occasionally will need to lift, and/or pull up to 75-100+ lbs., and carry up to 20 lbs.</li></ul>
