<ul><li>Process Design and Optimization:</li><li>Develop and design treatment processes for various water &amp; waste water treatment.</li><li>Optimize existing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet regulatory requirements.</li><li>Use simulation software and modeling tools to evaluate process performance.</li><li>Technology Selection:</li><li>Assess and recommend appropriate treatment technologies (e.g., filtration, disinfection, chemical treatment).</li><li>Evaluate new technologies and techniques for their applicability in the water treatment process.</li><li>System Integration:</li><li>Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integration of mechanical, electrical, and civil systems into the design.</li><li>Ensure that various components of the water treatment system work effectively together.</li><li>Regulatory Compliance:</li><li>Ensure that the design complies with local, state, and federal regulations and standards for water quality and treatment.</li><li>Participate in environmental assessments and impact studies.</li><li>Project Management:</li><li>Plan and manage projects, timelines, and budgets related to design and implementation.</li><li>Coordinate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Data Analysis and Testing:</li><li>Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale tests to evaluate treatment processes.</li><li>Analyze data from testing and operational sources to identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Documentation:</li><li>Prepare detailed engineering reports, process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&amp;IDs), and design specifications.</li><li>Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for process operations and maintenance.</li><li>Field Work and Troubleshooting:</li><li>Conduct site visits to monitor existing processes and troubleshoot operational issues.</li><li>Collaborate with operators and maintenance teams to address process malfunctions.</li><li>Collaboration and Communication:</li><li>Work with project teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and present designs.</li><li>Engage with regulatory agencies, clients, and the community to communicate project goals and outcomes.</li></ul>Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
