 ROLE PURPOSE
 
 
 
 As a Senior Frontend Engineer in our team, you will work within the development team to build the user-interface and front-end deliverables. Collaborating with Product Managers, Architects and Software Engineers to research, design, implement and improve functionalities of information management application as part of a Big Data analytic system.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design, build, and maintain complex, high-performance web applications using modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, TypeScript).
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute the frontend architecture and establish best practices for scalable, maintainable, and testable codebases.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
 </li>
 <li>
 Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and ensure smooth data flow between frontend and backend.
 </li>
 <li>
 Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and guide the team toward engineering excellence
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and mitigate common web vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, CSRF, clickjacking, injection attacks)
 </li>
 <li>
 Stay up to date with emerging web technologies, tools, and frameworks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and code quality initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) to plan sprints, define tasks, and deliver on deadlines.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
 </li>
 <li>
 8+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and at least one modern framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
 </li>
 <li>
 GIS related libraries (e.g. Mapbox, Cesium)
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with state management (e.g., Redux, MobX).
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, and real-time data (WebSockets).
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g. Jest).
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) or cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

 The Engineer is responsible for design, development and implementation of solutions across multiple ServiceNow modules (ex. ESC, ITSM, IRM, BCM) and other platform capabilities (ex. App Engine, Now Assist).
 
 
 The purpose of this role is to ensure that all requests for features and functionality on ServiceNow are delivered according to best practice, are documented for future maintenance and improvement, and that user instructions are provided for end user training.

 Key responsibility is the design and development of requests logged in our pipeline tracker. Objectives are to:

 Design, develop and deploy solutions on ServiceNow based on solid technical understanding.

 Ensure business requirements are documented, evaluated and converted to technical design.
 </li>

 Deliver configuration and development of ServiceNow features, functionality and integrations needed to support the business processes.

 The role will work directly with other ServiceNow platform team members and ITIL process owners and will work closely with specialists across both IT department and corporate organization in general
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:

 Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
